Here's the problem, if you ignore these morons that feel the need to put their hands where they don't belong, you give credence for others to do the same.
Maybe if this country actually starts prosecuting people for bad behavior, others would get the message.
Peacefully assemble all you want, carry signs, chant moronic catchphrases until you turn blue, but don't be a jackass and believe you have a right to act destructively just because you're emotionally unstable. People need to act responsibly and if they chose not to, there needs to be consequences. There was a time in our history that this was common knowledge.

That's a fair assessment, but that is not what this administration is doing. If they want to change people for touching the water or grabbing loose pieces of debris then that is fine, but the charges have to be fair. Don't blame or charge people because your ego can't handle your colossal mess up

I was also critical of BLM. They basically got free reign to do whatever with 0 consequences. One main difference is they actually destroyed stuff. If you want to compare it to BLM it would be like if police / shop owners burned their own stuff down then blamed the rioters.

to cut back on all this property destruction, "mostly peaceful" protests, accidental deaths that result from those, and upending lives, there must be a hard line drawn. no, not by red spray paint on monuments. by charging and arresting those who go over the line. regardless of political affiliation, and not taking into account "ego" (did you admonish Bomma for his?).
