Most tend to getoffice and then forget what they said on the campaign trail.

That goes for Obama, certainly biden, both bushes. To a lesser extent Clinton(who I think k was not horrible)
And even Reagan in his 2nd term.

Trump ran on a platform of enriching his personal wealth through corrupt, shady, international business deals? Trump ran on a platform of kowtowing to hostile foreign dictators? Trump ran on a platform of alienating our most trusted Western allies, making America a pariah on the world stage? Trump ran on a platform of sending his personal militia into blue states, terrorizing, and sadly, murdering, American citizens?

Well, if that's the case, then yes, he's doing exactly what he ran on.

It only seems like emotional drivel if you don't have a clear-eyed view of what is happening in the world. And I say that with all due respect, not meant as a personal slight, Zona. Were you aware for instance, that Putin's lethal attacks on civilian population centers in Ukraine has gone up by 30% under "tough, hard" Trump as opposed to "soft, weak" Biden?
 
I'm just glad they got rid of the foreign acts this year. Looking forward to seeing an All-American lineup with Green Day from California, and Bad Bunny from Puerto Rico.

Will be rooting for the Seahawks to keep the Pats from getting to #7, other than that, the NFL season ends for me when the Steelers season ends.

I wonder why the sitting President isn't attending this year? He will be missed.

When you come back witha response like this, it makes it harder to take you seriously.you are better than this.

Trump is doing whst he ran on. Secured border, get illegals out of our country, cheaper gas, cheaper groceries ( admittedly jot as fast as he said he would) ending wars(8 so far)
Making us wealthy again. Trump accounts is amazing. No one else thought about this?

I hope he can cut out all the frivolous crap that's like an anchor around his neck, mostly on foreign policy, so he can focus on things that actually help the American people.

I don't see how insulting our NATO allies is helping America, disparaging those who've given their lives on the battlefield. The backlash has been brutal. I imagine not much of that has seeped into your news feeds. Not that it matters to most of you, but it's the reason JD Vance was mercilessly booed in Milan at the Olympics. Same with posting wholly inappropriate, racist memes. I mean, come on, he's the sitting President of the United States. It's so embarrassing.

In the end, I hope you're correct, that there will be more good, than bad, in his 2nd term. We'll see. So often, it seems he can't get out of his own way due to his belligerence and oversized ego.

Agreed on alot of this. Trump makes it harder on Trump. Not a fan of what he does sometimes, but I voted for his policies not his memes

Puerto Ricans are so American that they don’t want to be American. If they become an American state, then they have to pay all the taxes they don’t have to pay as a US territory.

Democrats have been trying to make a state out of Puerto Rico for decades and they have wanted no part of it.
