That thing is amazing. Just a death dealing machine. Got to see one of those things blow the hell out of a Taliban fortified mountain under NVG’s. Still in awe of what that thing is capable of.

decades ago, I was working at FedEx in Memphis. Part of my job was to load the belly of a 747. That required one person to go into the aft belly and wait for bags of documents to be loaded onto a belt and fed up to the back of the plane. This was all done after "sort" of the packages and documents was completed. One particular day, I was sent out to wait for the documents to come to the plane. I went up to the belly door and sat, waiting...

I got to watch a C130 circle around, kiss the runway with the tires and take off again. It did this 4-5 times. Flat amazing to watch that fat assed plane spin the tires on the ground and take off again.

Touch and Go’s. They do that here on Pope pretty regularly. As you said, it’s a remarkable thing that something so large can do that. Those things have been around since the 50’s and as far as I know they are still building them. Crazy.

It's wild how they look like they are barely moving on approach or departure for that matter.

That's because they probably are. My Dad was a flight engineer/top turret gunner on a B-24 in WWII, he'd often joke that it took all day to get to 25,000 feet.

The lift coefficient must be unbelievable or it's an optical illusion due to how big those planes are.
 
Yes, those transport planes are amazing. I live about 40 miles south of Dover Air Force Base and they fly over my house all the time, most of the time I don’t even hear them and they’re flying low as hell. It’s actually amazing to see.
Actually, there’s a lot of C-5’s up in Dover also and they are larger and even more stealth. It is amazing something that large can fly so low and so quietly.
 
 
Who are and what kind of people vote for someone that’s obviously not qualified to be a representative in any shape or form in the United States government?
You see it all over the country, you see them interviewed on TV and news programs. They have no clue about the constitutional law or even how government actually runs in United States.
It’s mind-boggling!
The total ignorance and stupidity of a fair amount of the citizens of this country is absolutely terrifying.

I think that the hope is that the education system builds this as a foundation of participation in the process. Unfortunately, it has been hijacked by the left, who benefit from low info voters.
