Wow, what a shame we don't have "President Hillary." What a great representation of America, ehh?

Fran Leibowitz on the night Trump got elected

Lebowitz is still shocked that Trump won. Part of the shock is that she was living so fully in a liberal New York bubble. “I had zero belief he would win. I have never been so wrong in my life. And being right is something I cherish. It’s really important to me to be right.”

It’s one of three nights burned entirely into 67-year-old Lebowitz’s memory – on a par with the Kennedy assassination and 9/11. “I remember every single second of the whole day – voting, everything – the whole day.”

She voted and went to lunch, and on the way home she felt like New York was getting ready to welcome its first female president. She walked past a party being set up, hosted by Harvey Weinstein. They said, “See you tonight, Ms Lebowitz!” But she didn’t attend that party, opting instead for the party of the then Vanity Fair editor, Graydon Carter.

“Everyone was in a great mood and there were these huge American flags draped everywhere. Everyone was drinking champagne.” From time to time over the night, Lebowitz popped into the kitchen to look at the election map on TV and, with each visit, became increasingly nervous. The map was turning red.

A friend, the contributing editor at Vogue, André Leon Talley, who had been on a strict weight-loss regime all year, entered the room. “I had been with this guy in restaurants all year and he was like, ‘Fish, just a little salad, no dressing!’ There were all these chocolates and cookies and stuff [on the table] and he started eating them without even looking. Then I’m smoking as usual but at a certain point I realised I’m smoking two cigarettes and Andre had eaten all the cookies. Graydon had in his hands two martinis and a waiter said ‘You want another?’ and he said ‘Yes!’ He couldn’t even hold them. At a certain point [another] friend of mine said, ‘I’m going home, I can’t take this – I’m not tough enough. I’m going home to take drugs.’ This is a man my age, a very distinguished man.”

Lebowitz went home to SoHo through neighbourhoods usually busy with nightlife. “But there was no one in the streets – it was nothing. It was like grief inside those houses. It was horrible. I felt that strongly affected emotionally for at least a month.

My level of rage, always high, is now in fever pitch all the time.”

Those stories of the ultimate Liberal media nightmare coming true and their reactions to it are so great, I could read them all day and never get bored.

So 17 months after the election, the “Trump Winning” thread is exclusively anti-Hillary, anti-Bernie, anti-Liberal. Proof the Trump Presidency is one big dumpster fire!

No Trogdyke....it's just that winning makes bashing losers more fun.

But carry on with your disingenuous babbling.

LOL! If only when Trump congratulated Putin it was “disingenuous babbling” and not blatant subservience.

He should have stood his ground. Well, he never should have had to actually. This budget was not "winning" in any way, shape or form.

Libtards melting down again!!!!

McMaster to Resign as National Security Adviser, and Will Be Replaced by John Bolton

WASHINGTON — Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster, the battle-tested Army officer tapped as President Trump’s national security adviser last year to stabilize a turbulent foreign policy operation, will resign and be replaced by John R. Bolton, a hard-line former United States ambassador to the United Nations, White House officials said Thursday.

Trump administration hits Iranian hacker network with sanctions, indictments in vast global campaign

The Trump administration on Friday announced sanctions and criminal indictments against an Iranian hacker network it said was involved in “one of the largest state-sponsored hacking campaigns” ever prosecuted by the United States, targeting hundreds of U.S. and foreign universities, as well as dozens of U.S. companies and government agencies, and the United Nations.

None of the alleged hackers were direct employees of the Iranian government, but all worked at the behest of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, officials said. While not the first such punishments imposed on Iran for malicious cyber acts, the new measures address more extensive Iranian efforts than previously alleged.

Nine of 10 named individuals were connected to the Mabna Institute, a Shiraz-based tech firm that the Justice Department alleged hacks on behalf of Iranian universities and the IRGC. The institute conducted “massive, coordinated intrusions” into the computer systems of at least 144 U.S. universities and 176 foreign universities in 21 countries, including Britain and Canada, officials said.

They stole more than 31 terabytes of data and intellectual property — the rough equivalent of three Libraries of Congress — from their victims, prosecutors alleged.

10,000 copies of Rules for Radicals, 20,000 copies of Obama's first autobiography, 20,000 copies of Obama's second autobiography because I mean one autobiography is not enough, 30,000 copies of Marx' "Das Kapital," 40,000 copies of the Communist Manifesto, 15,000 copies of an unabridged word-for-word summary of every speech Fidel Castro ever gave, and one never-viewed copy of the U.S. Constitution.

White House announces ban on most transgender service members

The White House announced Friday that the Trump administration would implement its ban on all transgender service in the military "except under certain limited circumstances."

It would also stop all use of Defense Department or Homeland Security resources to fund new sex reassignment surgeries, except to protect the health of individuals who have already begun treatment to reassign his or her sex. The announcement was expected, since it was part of President Trump's executive memo in August 2017 renewing a former transgender military service.

According to the White House memo, "transgender persons with a history or diagnosis of gender dysphoria -- individuals who the policies state may require substantial medical treatment, including medications and surgery -- are disqualified from military service except under certain limited circumstances."

The memo further states "the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Homeland Security, with respect to the U.S. Coast Guard, may exercise their authority to implement any appropriate policies concerning military service by transgender individuals."

Bolton Expected to 'Clean House'

Incoming National Security Advisor John Bolton and people close to him are expected to launch a massive shake-up at the National Security Council, aiming to remove dozens of current White House officials, starting with holdovers from President Barack Obama’s administration, according to multiple sources.

Those targeted for removal include officials believed to have been disloyal to President Donald Trump, those who have leaked about the president to the media, his predecessor’s team, and those who came in under Obama.

“Bolton can and will clean house,” one former White House official said.

A second former White House official offered a blunt assessment of former Obama officials currently detailed or appointed to the NSC: “Everyone who was there during Obama years should start packing their ****.”

seen elsewhere:

This is why Trump signed the omnibus spending bill.
Saudi general in charge of Yemen campaign speaks to euronews
General Ahmed Assiri insists Saudi Arabia's only objective in Yemen is to "restore stability".
(2) Final sentence: "Assari was with the crown prince in the states last week where they got Trump's support for the offensive against Iran, for their operation in Yemen and the rest."
(3) "Offensive against IRAN."
So......regime change in Iran is on.
(4) Our military must now train like maniacs.
We'll be working closely with the Iranians and their Arab allies.
THAT is why we wiped out the Russian unit in Syria. We had to show the Iranians that we're serious.
(5) Trump is slapping China with all sorts of penalties.
Why?????? Because we don't need their help in dealing with North Korea.
(6) H. R. McMaster is an expert on North Korea.
In April and September of 2017, the USS Jimmy Carter (most secret sub ever built) returned to port flying the Jolly Roger, indicating the successful completion on combat missions. Go ahead a research the USS Jimmy Carter. She is a thing of amazement, even by our submarine standards!!!
(7) The Carter patrols the Pacific and specializes in inserting and removing special-warfare units.
(8) Trump has agreed to a face-to-face meeting with Kim Jong-un.
ALL American presidents refused to do so, because that would show Asia that we consider North Korea an equal.
(9) Everything adds up: We've destroyed the North Korean nuclear capabilities.
And now Trump is reaching out.
(10) We used Rods From God. (Look up this weapons system! Its some highspeed ****!)
(11) One of the bombardments killed Kim's entire nuclear-weapons unit.
Up to 200 killed at North Korea's nuclear test site: report
Japanese broadcaster TV Asahi said the unfinished tunnel collapsed at the mountainous Punggye-ri site.
https://www.usatoday.com/…/up-200-killed-north-k…/816276001/
(12) So North Korea has surrendered...... McMaster resigned, because he won!
Now he goes back to the army.
(13) Enter John Bolton, a guy who has balls of steel.
Regime change in Iran will require balls of steel.
Ergo, John Bolton.
(14) Trump wrote this.
15) That means the mullahs will be gone by September.
Also Hezbollah.
(16) There's talk that Trump will use funds from the omnibus to build the border wall.
Well, I suppose it's possible, but the wall pales into nonexistence compared to everything else that Trump is accomplishing.
(17) Besides, we're doing pretty well without the wall.
Immigration arrests spiked, illegal border crossings dropped in 2017: DHS
Of the apprehensions, nearly 98% were along the Southwest border.
http://abcnews.go.com/…/immigration-arrests-spiked-i…/story…
(18) Since wall-heads are never satisfied, and since they're angry no matter what, my guess is that Trump has something ELSE up his sleeve.
Before the midterms, I think we're going to learn a hell of a lot about Democrat criminality. On a level that nobody anticipated.
(19) Trump will GO THERE.
(20) Trump sent this message to the Iranians.
(21) Thus, as I always knew, Trump has everything under control.
He used the wall to distract.
We've defeated North Korea in combat. They've surrendered.
(22) The mullahs and Hezbollah are next on the assembly line.
Or DIS-assembly line.
(23) Best president in American history.
(24) When you see the big picture, you don't let pissant bloggers and pundits get you down...
(25) ADDENDUM: I forgot to add this:
In September--after the mullahs are gone--Trump will have the giant showdown with the swamp.
THAT'S when he'll veto everything until they give him what he wants.
(26) He hasn't done it YET, because we needed this time to prepare for regime change in Iran... going on...This is why Trump signed
Oh but.....guns are bad
