White House releases donor list for Trump ballroom amid East Wing demolition

by Brett Samuels - 10/23/25 10:37 AM ET

Amazon, Apple, Google and other major companies are among those donating to help cover the cost of President Trump’s massive new ballroom at the White House.

The White House confirmed the list to The Hill amid demolition of the East Wing to make room for the ballroom. The demolition has sparked controversy and pushback from historians and preservation groups.

Trump told reporters Wednesday the project would cost $300 million, up from the initial $200 million estimate the White House shared at the end of July.

“Over the years many presidents have made changes. This obviously would be the biggest change. But this is something they’ve wanted for at least 150 years,” Trump said.

Donors include major companies, as well as wealthy individuals like Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman and construction executive Paolo Tiramani. Trump hosted many of them for a dinner at the White House last week.

Many of the companies, such as Apple, Amazon, Meta and Google, have sought to strengthen ties with the Trump administration.

Here is a list of the companies and individuals donating to help pay for the ballroom, according to the White House:

They don't give two ***** about any citizen. Just winning politically and obstructing anything and everything the president wants to accomplish for the country.

They may as well have a foreign enemy in their place, they do the same job.

The demonic-rats have no problems whatsoever inflicting hardship on citizens. I actually think they enjoy it. They'll blame it on Trump anyway for not meeting their asinine demands.

Do you think that’s all on the up and up? Or do you think it’s corruption? I’ll respect the honest answer that I know you won’t give.
