LMaO, ole scabby knees Shep is trying to save face. Too little too late. Is he the bottom or is Cooper?

So Jim Acosta is the media hill you want to die on?!?

Yikes.

No kidding. An unabashedly biased political shill who has the gall to claim to be unbiased when anyone with working brain cells can see through that facade. He's an absolute joke....along with just about everyone else at CNN. He's up there with the worst of the worst.

Jimmy @Acosta sorry your precious feelings are hurt & that people see through your lying bullshit for what it is. FAKE NEWS. #CNNSUCKS

Massachusetts woman enraged by Trump bumper sticker intentionally rammed into car, police say

A Massachusetts woman was reportedly taken into custody on Monday after she allegedly drove into a car sporting a Trump bumper sticker.

The arrest of Chloe Wright, 25, followed an alleged hit-and-run in Hyannis on June 30, the Cape Cod Times reported, citing a police report.

After the incident, the man she hit reportedly contacted the Barnstable Police Department and recalled hearing a motorist behind him honking their car horn as he waited at a red light.

According to the police report, the honking continued and by the time he reached another red light, the motorist started shouting at him, the Times reported.

I was just in Hyannis two weeks ago. That's where the ferries run to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Cool little town, but they think JFK is still alive.

There is no threat to freedom of the press because there is nothing that prohibits them saying and writing about whatever they want (other than standard journalism rules).

Freedom of the press does not mean freedom from criticism or freedom of consumers to pick and choose what credibility they give the press. Those things are EARNED by being good journalists and contributing to society. Something the press seems to have lacked and forgotten over the last 10-20 years in their quest for ratings and profit. They have no one but themselves to blame for their lack of credibility.

The corrulation between the fall of our mainstream media and the fall of ESPN is almost eerily similar. I gave up on ESPN about 10 years ago. It got to be too much. Too much of all of the bullshit and not enough substance. Too much "personality" and anchors/opinionists/experts tooting their own horns and creating their own "brands". The news is NOT about who reads the teleprompters and until this group of arrogant pricks realize that, they will continue to follow the path of ESPN, who no real sports fan even gives a **** about anymore.

This is what I am saying. A little objectivity in the media would go a long way. The media has been on a quest to discredit Trump since he secured the nomination. It has gotten progressively worse. A lot of the **** Trump says and does makes me cringe, but for guys like Jim Acosta to pretend that they have given the President a fair shake in anything they have reported is complete and utter nonsense. And he and CNN have the nerve to wonder why they are losing to SpongeBob in the ratings. People can see it, plain as day. And they are tuning out.

I used to tune in to both CNN and FOXNews each morning to get a feel of the days events from both sides of the spectrum, but I cannot watch either of them anymore. Nothing but biased political drivel from both sides. The people reporting the 'news' at both outlets have no ******* idea what journalism is. Just report the facts as you know them. No need for so called "experts" pretending to know "what it means" or "why it happened" and pretend that it's fact. Just report the damn facts. It would be refreshing.

The Trump administration on Thursday moved to freeze fuel economy standards in what officials described as an effort to give drivers access to “safer” and “more affordable” vehicles, in the latest decision to unravel part of former President Barack Obama's legacy.

The proposal comes just one day after the Trump administration announced major changes to health plans, providing consumers with more options to buy cheaper, short-term health insurance.

The Department of Transportation and Environmental Protection Agency proposed the vehicle change as the first formal step in setting new standards for model years 2021 through 2026. The plan would freeze the Obama-era requirements set to take effect after 2020.

Muh legacy!

I emailed President Trump a while ago suggesting that we adopt European emissions and safety standards. Automakers could sell the same cars here that they do in Europe, resulting in more economies of scale and access to cars with better mpg here. Europe has some of the same cars we have here but they are often equipped with diesel or smaller turbocharged engines that are not available in the U.S. because of emissions standards, or the cars are too small to pass our safety standards.

Did you hear back?

BOOM! Trump Approval at 50% — 5 POINTS HIGHER THAN OBAMA at Same Point in His Presidency

Despite the continued media anti-Trump hysterics over the past several months including the meltdown after President Trump said kind words to Vlad Putin — the US president’s approval rating continues to rise since May.
President Trump’s approval rating is currently at 50% on Rasmussen Reports.

Nice Bongo Truck.

That's how they roll. When gas is $8 a gallon, fuel economy counts for a lot more than emissions and safety.

They drive those little things all over Korea. When I was there in 1997-1998, our company had one and I had the pleasure driving that rotten thing from Chunchon to Tongduchon. Pretty uncomfortable to drive. But it was a neat little novelty to experience.

Saw a lot of Jeeps and Chrysler minivans in Italy but many of them had diesel engines which are not available in the U.S.

Their size is also a result of the older narrow streets. There were few public works trucks larger than that in Madrid.

Oh yeah. The garbage trucks in Siena are the size of an extra large golf cart.

I've been to Lucca too. I just missed the Top Gear guys by a few months.

Hungarian PM: ‘New Era’ Ahead for Central Europe

Viktor Orbán says region ripe for revival of Christian, national identities

BĂILE TUŞNAD, Romania (ChurchMilitant.com) - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is committing to propelling his country and all Central Europe into a "new era" — transforming the region into a Christian bulwark of democratic nation-states.

Addressing supporters in the Hungarian enclave of Székely Land in Romania last Saturday, Orbán said he is eagerly anticipating next year's European parliamentary elections, as they offer an opportunity to thwart globalists' "goal of transforming Europe and moving it towards a post-Christian and post-national era."

"In European politics, it is the turn of the anti-communist generation, which has Christian convictions and commitment to the nation," the prime minister declared. The primary focus of the elections, he predicted, will be mass migration.

Orbán dismissed the European Union's executive body, the European Commission, as an oppressive, failing institution. The commission, he said, "is not a friend of freedom, because, instead of freedoms, it is working towards building a European socialism. We should be happy that its days are numbered."

The prime minister continued: "We should ask ourselves why the European elite — which today is exclusively a liberal elite — has failed."

Yep, and the NY Times doubled down and kept her, saying she was only tweeting that stuff in response to other stuff. Complete lie. She was tweeting racist **** as recently as July of 2016. The double standard is real. I'd bet my left nut that if you put the work black where she used white, there would have been a much different outcome.
