The next 3 weeks

So, we made the playoffs, nothing to stress over there. But we face Cinci who needs to win this week. Cinci is still a mess of a team, with nothing but Burrow and their wide outs. No defense, no running game. But they did put together a 4-game winning streak, beating Denver last. If we lose we face Balt., if we win we get Houston at home. Most agree we could beat Houston, who really had some problems, losing to the Jets and TN late this season (very Tomlinesque). Regardless if we beat Cinci, we have a playoff game the next week. We could beat Houston, even in the most pathetic, Tomlinesque state. But that is it. We will get steamrolled the next week. So what do you predict: do we beats Cinci and the win our 1ST PLAYOFF GAME IN 8 YEARS? Can it be?
 
The Bungholes O lights up scoreboards. They put up big numbers on us a few weeks ago but Russ was able to get that moonball working and we put up over 40. It may take that again as I don't see our D stopping them. We need to win the TO battle by 2 and score TD's after both of them.

We should be able to beat the Texans but a loss would not surprise me or anyone I would guess. After that, who knows? This teams has talent when healthy. Smith is going to need to do something different though if they are going to have a chance.

I basically agree on all comments. But what is Smith going to do differently? What are his "Tomlinesqued" options?
 
I’m telling y’all don’t go to sleep on the Texans. That game will be played at NRG Stadium in Houston and will be rocking.
Stroud is an exciting talented young QB that had not as good a year as last but he can beat you.
They have very good WRs and Joe Mixon is a quality RB. They do miss Tank Dell.
Their defense is pretty solid.
DeMeco and Slowik will have them ready to play, trust me.

Man we use to have that all the time when I was a kid. been YEARS since I had it. I did do a meatloaf on the Treager pellet grill tonight. turned out awesome

Must be different in different parts of country.
S.o.s. for me us something like cream chipped beef over toast

Mine was a creamed hamburger gravy and I put it over instant mashed potatoes.

Definitely can use beef / ham / Italian or pork sausage, pretty wide variety for the makings.

Toast is excellent, but I was in the mood for the instant mashed potatoes.

Yeah, I know it like Blitz. I like it, but if it's sitting there and there is sausage gravy as another choice, it's always sausage gravy. With a little Texas Pete.

You guys seem like foodies. I shot a number of pheasants this year, and in the past always put them in a crock pot. This year I wanna try smoking them. Anybody ever smoke pheasant?
 
Never actually smoked pheasant, but sure have eaten a lot of it.

I think that is by far the best way to eat pheasant.

But they did just lose to the Jets and Titans - something is wrong with them.

I don't really smoke lot of meats.

Chipped beef and gravy over toast. that's gonna be supper one day next week. thanks for bringing back old memories.

My dad said they fed it to them back in the war. He didn't speak highly of of it. :LOL:
But, that was the Army Air Corps' recipe..I bet it's good if you know how to make it.

So they can get rolled at home? Might be what worthless AR2 needs to make him do something. Then again, he would probably just extend Mediocre Mike another 5 years so he can get those world class no losing season trophies. Worthless AR2 probably thinks you can trade in 20 non losing season trophies for another Lombardi trophy.
