The most important games on our schedule I put in bold. Essentially every game vs. the Ravens and Bengals, and the other game vs. teams in the AFC gunning for playoff spots.

sep 10 8:30pm at patriots
sep 20 1:00pm 49ers
sep 27 1:00pm at rams
oct 1 8:25pm ravens
oct 12 8:30pm at chargers

oct 18 1:00pm cardinals
oct 25 1:00 at chiefs
nov 1 1:00pm bengals
nov 8 1:00pm raiders
nov 15 1:00pm browns
nov 29 4:25pm at seahawks
dec 6 8:30pm colts
dec 13 1:00pm at bengals
dec 20 4:25pm broncos
dec 27 8:30pm at rave
ns
jan 3 1:00pm at browns

Of these nine games five are on the road. If the Steelers are to make the playoffs, I think they need to be 5-4 or better in these games

The most important games are always against the divisional opponents. If you go at least 5-1 against those teams, odds are that you are winning the division. Outside of those games, it's the Colts and Patriots as those teams will be challenging for playoff seeds in the AFC and then the Chargers because it is an AFC game, but in the Pacific Time Zone where the Steelers haven't won under Tomlin.

Interesting way to look at it but with 16 games in a season they are all important. Losing more than 4 could be enough to eliminate one from the playoffs, and it could be any of the games. 10 and 6 might not make it. Sweeping the division games and being 10 and 6 could still have one on the outside looking in.

Week 1. Followed by week 2, and then week 3. I think the week 4 opponent would then be the next most important followed by 5, 6, 7............................16.

I get it that the division games followed by the perceived AFC's best are huge but make no mistake, every single game in the NFL is gigantic. There is little room for error if you are serious about getting in the playoffs.

There have been teams that were 11-5 sitting at home for the playoffs. Obviously the least 4 important games are against the 4 NFC teams, but that is only in terms of playoff tiebreakers. Every win/loss/game matters.

This^^^ the most important game is always the NEXT game.

Sweep your devision, guess what............your in the play offs at 6-10..........

I take it week by week as I'm pretty sure the players do to.!!!!!!!!

Salute the nation

Sadly, Tomlin will lose 10 of these games.

I hope the sarcasm font is on cause if one of the teams that has been swept in the division is at 7 and 10 they will be in and the steelers will not.

Pats w
Ravens toss up
Chargers w
Denver l
Seattle l

I think we are looking at 10-6 if the pass rush is a lot better and the young do"s can make plays then we can steal perhaps the Indy gamy and maybe Denver Is a possibility at best 11-5

Hopefully 15 important weeks followed by a meaningless game vs the stains in week 17 if we have a bye locked up and are locked into the 1 or 2 seed. It's the NFL, every division game is crucial as is every home game... Then the rivalry games against contenders and with this staff keeping the roll going vs the teams we should beat is a must if we want #7

The most important games on the Steelers schedule? I agree with Falco, all of them. I'll tell you this much Coach. They better win the games that they're suppose to win. home vs the Browns, Bengels, Ravens, RAIDERS,49'ers,Cards,. In other words they better win 7 of 8 at home.

If Brady misses all as per the original penalty I think the pats go 10-6 with complete new starters at cb and a mix of a average dl along with average olb"s they have a lot of work cut out I think Miami or Buffalo take the east but at 10-6 or 11-5 I see Indy as the 1 seed and then it's all up with Denver us Baltimore kc/sd and wild cards pats and Buffalo.
