He would have to play SS in present day or not?

He's have been banned from the league if he played today. Gotta celebrate what made football football man.

I was thinking of "Time Machine" t*mmy b*y back to Jack's time............................. t*mmy b*y wouldn't make 4 games and I'd hope one was against the STEELERS, Especially if all 4 were against the AFC Central.

I was born in 78 so can't remember him playing, but the end of his HOF speech when I was 9 or 10 was awesome, you better damn well believe I'd be a Pittsburgh Steelers. Something along those lines, gave me chills then.

He lived about 7 miles from from my hometown of Kittanning,PA. I was always hoping I'd run into him while hunting. Jack Lambert and Joe Greene are the guys that set the foundation. The needs to get back to that in some way given the ****** rules of engagement.

He used to be my favorite. Now it is Hines Ward.

Being a younger fan.
The baddest in mind was Greg Lloyd. He always stood out during games and interviews.

Being more in tune and understanding of football when I turned 11.
Yes Hines became my fave.

It's always great to see the rich history of the Steelers.
The 70's team set the standard for the franchise. Yeah Joe Greene is probably the heart of it all, but Lambert's face is Steelers D

Grew up in the 70's. My first Steelers jersey as a kid was Lambert. I wore it all the time, even when it was 2 sizes too small.

Just imagine Lambert,Lloyd and Harrison in that 4-3 defense. Mean Joe,Ernie,LC and White up front. Brings a nice smile just thinking of ambulances they'd have to keep on hand.

Back in that ERA, Harrison would have had 531 sacks for his career as he wouldn't have been battling the commissioner and QB dress rules.
