The Good

Bell - In a passing league you have a RB that is the best pass catcher with excellent vision.
Shazier - A sack, a forced fumble and 7 tackles
Tuitt -6 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He was a monster out there tonight. Gets my MVP on D for the game.
Deebo with a team record sack, when he was in his prime it was honey.
Run D - A solid performance, no complaints here.
Points given up - 9. Even from a ****** team like the factory of sadness it is a solid D overall result. As the clowns have been by pattern starting out well early game by game, only to see their D fail. Time and time again. That pattern wasn't followed tonight.

The Bad

playcalling. Pass on 3rd and short run on 3rd and long. I will ding them for this every time I see it....
red zone TD efficiency. This area needs to be better, for a team struggling to find its way on D.

The Ugly

Green -he still didn't look back from injury.0 catches, really? Not for that kind of money, not here, not him, not now.
Sammie Coates- Will he ride STs for the rest of the year? Not doing the Steelers passing attack any favors.

Ugly?! May I submit......

Tomlin's 3 consecutive ridiculous decisions to go for it and risk no points in a 6 point game before the half and going for 2. I dont care about the result. That was incredibly anti intelligent decision making.

I'll say this I don't think many people have noticed but Artie Burns is developing into a nice CB and for all the crap Sean Davis has taken in recent weeks he's improved alot since the start of the year also.. Nice to see!

I didn't mind them going for it but I didn't like the three pass plays in a row. 1st and goal, just F'n run it.

I think the Steelers could've put up more points. Good win, and some ****** officiating neutered the team a bit today. Congrats to Harrison as well. I'm good with this win

In a passing league. You are right, but here is one thing of many I do not understand from these NFL teams. A consistent complaint is that teams can't practice tackling anymore. If that is the case, wouldn't it behoove you to pound the football with the running game? Force teams to do more of what they cannot practice consistently. If I was the Steelers, unless the guy is 300lbs and dumb as a stump, I'd bring Karlos Williams up from the PS and ground and pound with him and Bell, Give him about 8-10 a game. Toussaint and Richardson just don't give you that. Besides, right now, outside of Brown, who is getting doubled and tripled, they don't have anyone else that seems to be able to get open consistently at the WR position, or TE for that matter. They may need to create more off of playaction if they can get the running game going to get guys open. Playaction doesn't do dick without commitment to the run.

I wholly agree with the red zone efficiency. If they get inside of the 5 yard line, they're all but guranteed to get a field goal try. They did show that the Steelers were 4th in the NFL in red zone efficiency though, and I thought that was crazy because for weeks now, it doesn't seem that way.

The guy has a busted hand, be happy he can contribute on special teams.

Ugly? Great call against a terrible team.

Chico, most people have seen this. There is really only a selective few (one or two actually) who have given Davis a hard time. D showed up, even though it was the Browns.

I must point out, I think Pryor is a heck of a player and he just blasted his OL for getting the QBs pummeled. He of all people should understand QBs. That team is young...and they play hard. But....They be fixing to just quit on the coach.

The browns put on the field one of the worst teams I think I've seen in a long time... I'm glad they are in our division. I didnt take anything away from that game that makes me think we "fixed" anything... we'll win some games make a little playoff run maybe not... won't get anywhere if we do make the playoffs... lots of talk about wait till next year... it's amazing quick how mediocrity sets in. As Lombardi said... "winnng is a habid.. but so is losing..."

I don't think they (OC or BB) giving green enough looks in a game. They put him in at goalline and it's not mystery. They force passes to him. The one today was a good pass but a hand got in there before it got to green.

They need to get him more involved early.

Sammy. If his hand is truely that jacked up to prevent him from making catches (ha) then why is he playing spcteams.

Make the offense easier. Run, get yards, run again ....fuckingplayaction! Stick with AB, tighends then whatever 2/3 Wr is doing well.

the arrogance of the team/coaches is what is hurting us. 3rd and short, bomb. 3rd and long, run.
going for 2 at all cost...

they started out running, windy as hell, and set the tone. Controlled the game. then play calling started to get funky. Maybe they were treating this like a practice? Who knows...

3rd and short has been GO deep for a couple years now. I hate it. (Love if when it works lol). It would be nice to know if that is a PC or BB

Yes, Burns has been playing decent. I think he still has major improvement to make, but he is competing and shows toughness. I'm not seeing greatness yet, but I do not expect it yet. He is doing fine. I haven't seen as much of Davis. I saw him come on a blitz and come in out of control and completely whiff on the qb and he should have had him fairly easily. Oh well. I can add Timmons looked great today. Their backs weren't able to stop his bull rush off the edge today. But yeah, Tuitt, Bell, Brown, Ben also looked good. He never went down the field today so somewhat conservative, but it worked. we ran it well today. Probably the best we ran it all year. it seems like cockrell is giving up a couple of big plays every game of late. have the browns o-line been this bad all year? cause our pass rush isn't very good and this was the most pressure i've seen from the d all year. ladarius green did not see the field much today it did not look like. i was surprised by that. i thought he would play more and more each game but that didnt happen. also also, bell dropped an easy dump pass today. we are having too many drops

Another ugly.

The game thread. Damn a lot of whinny B action from the gate. Yes, this team isn't playing well, yes we need to be better, and yes I thing coaching changes need to happen....but damn.

I kind of kept it as a right here and now. Tomlin's issues are known and repetitive. Which is why I left him out.

Besides everyone now knows my feelings on him, so at this point it is a given.

would rather he let that hand heal and not play on SS, that way he won't aggravate the healing process. And as a result be back where he is needed more as a 2nd WR.

You didn't say the GBU specific to the players, coaches, owners..etc. so yes I think it fits.

Not to mention that there were 11 missed extra points across the NFL this weekend, not to mention what's been missed throughout this season. More and more teams are probably going to start going for two.

Well you were the biggest whinner in there so, I guess I know why you get pissy at me.

Funny, I agreed we played like ***, and we need coaching changes, but somehow that still is sand in your vag. Lovely. Good night.

Sand in my vag huh

perhaps your vagina was bleeding so much it carried over / leaked into this thread, and you were called on it.

I know you are one of the Tomlin's nuthuggers, have a good night.
