As I sit here appreciating the win ...
and pondering some moments of the game. I am putting on my best Eastwood expression to go over some points with a few questions sprinkled in. And if we are lucky perhaps a few SteelerNationers will answer those questions.
you got to ask yourself one question do you feel lucky? well doya punk?
The Good
The defense Who am I to short change this unit when they have been creating sacks and turnovers? Number 2 in turnovers second only to the cheats. And we all know why they are always in the right place at the right time. Good job limiting their rushing attack to 86 yards on the day.
Tell me why was Bush on Tyler Boyd?
Trailing on the play he created his first forced fumble. Yeah let us put the cherry on-a-top of an attractive rookie campaign.
Watt is having a DPOY type season, can you believe one of our very own posters pimped him late in the draft process while naming 15 other players he liked?
Man cooch really nailed that one! Fitz was Johnny on the scene with a nice fumble return. Nelson gave us his best shut down corner impersonation.Barron with a beautiful play that appeared to be a safety from where I sat.
Was that play not reviewable? challengeable?
Grave digger in the last three games has 20 tackles a sack and 3 tackles for a loss . Quietly doing well in Tuitt's absence. Haden showed a short memory after a rocky start with some nice breakups later when it matter the most. Heyward was his usual disruptive self, and even Bud Dupree chipped in with a strip sack fumble recovery. Alvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvviiiiiiiiiiin!
Washington Man was two yards short of a 100 yard day. And how sweet that Hines Wardish stiff arm was that screamed, GET OUT THE WAY!
Whyte He was a nice little jitterbug with 6 carries for 43 yards. Not bad for coming off the Bears practice squad to gametime action.
Benny Snail Football Yeah that slow RB was two yards short of an 100 yard rushing effort.
Can I get a Snell yeah ! ?
The Bad
Rudy Two 30 some passer ratings in a row ended with a benching. You have to wonder how much that concussion affected his overall game. A rough week for our poor Rudolph that may not get to play in anymore reindeer games. Let us see what Santa has to say about this next week. I am mailing my request to the North Pole for a Steeler playoff appearance. Man give a big kid his wish....
The Ugly
Came before the game when a clevehole fan decided to pinata her interpretation of Rudolph getting hit with a helmet. Yeah a lot of swing and misses there *****, just like the history of your franchise. Your city is so ******* ugly Modell up and moved away. You act like your mistake by the lake team is relevant. **** you can't even win right. Not that you have to worry about that happening often. So while your team enjoys yet another year of comfy sofa playoff watching. You can suck down with your few remaining teeth a cold beverage of your team was never good enough, is not good enough now, and will never be good enough in the future. Ol factory of sadness.
