You're out of your minds. I think you guys have forgotten how big of a force Le'veon is since he hasn't played much in over a year. DWill has been amazing and I love him too, but if Bell can keep his nose clean he has a chance to be one of the best RBs to ever play the game. There isn't anything he can't do. Hopefully they find a way to get them both on the field. But Bell split out on a linebacker is going to cause all kinds of headaches for defenses.

You all will remember when he goes for 150+ rushing with 7 receptions for 100+ and 3 TDS.

Is anyone actually saying that here? I'm not trying to be a smartass, I'm just asking. I think Dwill is doing a hell of a job, but I don't for one second want him starting over Bell when he's back. Does anyone?

Joe

Yeah, I've read it a few times from different people here. Someone suggested we cut him.

Williams has better power and speed. And costs a fraction of what it will take to re-sign Bell. Maybe Bell is better overall, but with his drug issues and injuries, buyer beware.

Last year when Williams replaced Bell, there was very little if any drop-off.

They need to set out a basic schedule of playing time. If Tomlin goes Bell evert down when he gets back he is ****** stupid. Keep em fresh and running hard.

DeAngelo Williams hasn't been faster then Bell in years. Not sure where you can possibly figure that. And don't you dare post DW's combine numbers from ten years ago.

Dwill isn't a better back overall, but he does have more power. The oline didn't really do that great at runblocking yesterday, but cinci does have a pretty stout front 7. Dwill did get some positive yards yesterday over the tackle that Bell probably would not have gotten. Bell is better in space though. Ben also seems more likely to throw the ball to bell whenever possible than he does dwill.

Since when doesn't Bell have any power? He's 6'2 225 of all muscle. Dude is a train.

Again there is nothing Williams does better then Bell. NOTHING. Except not smoke Weed. And this is not knock on Williams this just tells you how good Bell is. Other Hall of Fame RBs call him the best in the business for a reason. That being said Williams should get some carries when Bell comes back and when he does Bell can be lined up at WR putting teams in a quandary on how to match up.

Yes 81I agree. More power? I don't see it. Bell gets yards when there is nothing there. His vision and patience is second to none. The only thing Bell doesn't have is 4.3 4.4 speed. Add in his ability to play WR notice I said play WR not just line up there. You have the best in the business when not getting high. Haley and the coaches have said he could play WR in the NFL if he wanted too..

Hopefully it's not his nose also that he need to keep clean as well....lol. DWill is doing a great job NOW. It is a long season. Bell is younger and a bigger threat (no knock on DWill). Now a healthy DWill and Bell is a great thing to have once he comes back in week 4. This is a good problem to have.

Since when did we start calling him DWill? Next thing you know, you'll be calling Supe "SupeM" and Tibs "TibSissy."

just going out on a limb, but you dabbled in heroin when you were younger, didn't you?

Bell isn't just a better player, he's dynamic. Williams is a great football player. Bell is at another level altogether.

These are the same dumb ***** who think Wallace is better or equal to Pouncey.

that guy wearing #26 might be good if he can get on the field

those that would take Williams in place of Bell would probably like Metenberger over Roethlisberger

Well he is cheaper. We can save a lot of money by going with Metenberger

Unless he lays off the weed and dirty bungles players stop taking him out, we may never know how good he could have been.

Williams is a very good RB that we were lucky to get cheap but we don't know how long will he last at his age.
Bell is even better and way younger. I think he has to accept a friendly deal because of the weed or get his *** franchised on succesive seasons

Right now I think Williams is a better running back... because he's on the field playing. Bell really needs to grown up and grow up quick. I could see the team tagging him then drafting a Christian McCaffrey or Leonard Fournette to give them a year to learn and then letting Bell walk if he gets greedy with his contract or doesn't stop doing stupid things.

I think Bell is much, much better, with better instincts etc., and so is his weed. My only concern is how he comes back from this injury. We know he can still handle gigantic bong hits, but can he run, cut, pick up the blitz, effectively conceal his Whizzinator etc.

How can you prove you're a better running back when you're too busy smoking weed and can't see the field? /pot stir
