You must be over 54 inches to ride..........

WARNING: May cause sudden dizziness. Nauseous feelings and in extremely rare cases, silliness.

There was a time when a play like that ... circling back to clean up a potential tackler after an INT ... was called a "heads up football play" and applauded. Now it's a flag for "unnecessary roughness" and "heads up football" is a term that the NFL uses to promote another one of its gimmick promotions. SMH

Mod, please merge this to the Harrison Fine thread, it shows the play better than my link.

This should not be a flag or fine. But in today's NFL it is a serious felony. Insane.

Will goodell give out participation trophies next?

This is one time where I'm glad he got a personal foul. It was probably the right call. Harrison was simply defending his mates. The opponent clearly came after Mitchell, as if he thought the play wasn't over and was going to hit him. I'd like to think Deebo noticed his guy was down, possibly hurt and saw the Cardinal coming after him while thinking "Like hell you will" and clobbered him.

That may be my 2nd favorite all-time Steelers personal foul, right after Jack Lambert slamming Cliff Harris.

I still see nothing wrong with what he did. The Card was running over in what looked to be an attempt to jump on or hit Mitchell and Debo blew him up with a clean block. Nothing wrong with that at all.

he knocked Brown 5 yards backwards. go Deebo!

Look mommy, it's a heat seeking Deebo.

I love his entire approach, how he lets up slightly to celebrate, then realizing the play is still live ..... zeros in on the prey and lowers the BOOM.

Heat Seeking Deebo says it perfectly......

In live action, I thought Harrison was just clearing the way in case Mitchell wanted to get up and run and that's what Harrison said he was doing after the game. Until the guy is ruled down, that is how I want my players playing.

In the game thread I was clamoring for a flag on Brown because I couldn't understand why he was hovering over Cockrell.

LOL

if there's no whistle how is that block illegal? absurd

I watched the replay a bunch of times, and I'm now swinging away from my initial thought that the player was not down. The ref is signaling a touchback well before Debo makes his hit. The ref determined that Mitchell was giving up the potential to advance by not getting up and immediately ruled the play dead. It at least makes sense to me now, however, I'm still not sure it is a finable play since Debo was looking at the action and not the referee, and I'm still not sure if the ref blew the whistle.

.

I would think that NORMALLY this play would not be a penalty on Harrison, let alone a fine. However, this is Goodell's NFL... and it is Harrison.

So, we'll see. I cannot fathom a penalty against Harrison on that play. I'll bet he got an attaboy from his teammates.

Way to go Deebo!

that's the thing, I think I didn't hear any whistles either

I liked the video.... But my all time favorite is Harrison suplexing the drunk Clown fan that ran out onto the field.

If Mitchell was making an attempt to get up I don't think it would of been a penalty.

gotta love Harrison, rewatching the game I captured this shot:
