Tin foil hat, I’m not making excuses but. This reminded me of the spy gate game where Bettis said, they knew our plays. Hear me out. Who is to say the Cheats who we all know cheat their ***** off, didn’t find a way to listen to our play calls or something? Think about it. Their big banner raising night, all the former cheats coming back, big money tug and rub could have done or bought anything. Couple that with The fact that we look better on paper/preseason(I know) than last year, they double teamed JuJu and watt. Someone had to be free right? Also every time we ran they knew it. Hell there were actually some people that would never pick us to win that did. And you can’t tell me our defensive line and offensive line should have dominated this game.

Maybe I’m wrong but is it really out of the realm of possibility?

Bwahahahahaha

******* whiny losers, The World Champs kicked the ever loving **** out of the Steelers on national tee-vee. Tomlin's no drama, no talent choir boys didn't belong on the same field with the Pats and the who!e world could see that.

You ******* gonna cry over this game all year aintcha, lol

Chokin' the chicken

to be sure, it wouldn't matter if they did know our plays. they didn't prevent Mongrief from dropping the ball over. and over. and over. and over. and over. and over.

The Steelers are so damn predictable, same damn offense for a decade. The only great plays are when Ben ad-libs and creates plays. The patriots keep Ben in the pocket and you get the result that occurred Sunday night.

Steelers fans always want this situation or that. It could very well be elements of both.

They knew our plays because the dumb ***** who put the game plan in place used the same ******* plan we beat them with last December. You can't run the same plays in critical situations and expect the same results. We needed to adjust and come at them with new stuff. So what does Mikey Sun Glasses do? He tries to duplicate the result after the Cheats had since last December to review tape. Its so disheartening to see the lack of thought put into these game plans.

Maybe with Bell 2 years ago and AB, we could overcome a ****** game plan. That's not going to be happening for us anymore. We need to come out and execute, but we also need game plans that aren't turds.

Lol. The Steelers had a game plan. Sure didn’t look like it.

Ill play along. Spike dont scare me.
Yes,, i felt that feeling. When absolutely everything fails and everything they did worked.. yeah i got that feeling like they knew.

I did.

but in hind sight.. Their receivers didnt drop a bunch of balls. Their Team was ahead, making us one dimensional. Their team didnt play only 2 DL at a time. Their team didnt play a ****** back up that shouldnt be on the roster. Their team protected their QB very well. Their team exploits weaknesses,, they used a 3rd string center.. We didnt use a Nose Tackle. Their team talks x's and O's on the sideline. Sorry i dont see our team doing much of that. We didnt use our TE. And we still really dont have a legit #2 TE until Grimble proves otherwise.
Lots of reasons we lost.

But yeah makes you wonder how one side is so much better than the other.

I think the biggest issue was again NO HALFTIME ADJUSTMENTS. The Steelers used the same game plan from last year and I get seeing if man defense and those a gap runs were going to work again but once you saw they had those issues fixed you switch up some man looks but go to a zone and you run some play action from that running formation. Not Tomlin. We again were out coached. I’m not taking away the fact I’m sure they cheated and the fact those pick plays weren’t being called. But we can’t ignore our coaches ineptness either.

We got our *** handed to us and cheating had nothing to do with that. Running the same asinine defense against the Pats and an offensive game plan that abandoned the running game and never committing to pushing the ball down the field and trying to run the same game plan as last year is why we lost the game. Maybe we should have brought back the coaching consultant we used last year.

I'm sure they are still cheating, but it was so easy for them to tell that we were passing on 3rd & short with an empty backfield. No mystery there.

The fact is, you KNOW the cheats have a catalog of your play calling verbiage. And even if you don't completely buy in to the signal stealing ****, you ought to take measures just in case. If the cheats DID get any signals, that's entirely on the Steelers. They had ALL the time in the world to prepare for that.

There were 2 plays that the P*ts blew up faster than instantly that sure looked like the best instinctive plays ever made by mortal, but as mentioned above, Tomless did so many things wrong before the team ever stepped on to the field.

1) As noted, why would you NOT put extreme pressure on a raw center?
2) A rookie was playing left tackle. What does Mike do? He swaps Watt and Dupree, putting a weaker rusher on the rookie.
3) He literally called the exact same play with JaySam countering back inside at least 3 times. This play worked well last year. This year it was complete garbage.
4) He waited entirely too long to put Washington in and didn't use McDonald until the game was over.
5) Short yardage, We doan' need no stinkin' fullback.
6) As soon as the P*ts scored, he freaked out and killed the running game. (This is a combo Fichtner/Tomless fault.)
7) 2 Down Linemen. Never Ever Ever. Unless it's 4th and 96. Otherwise NO!

All valid points. Tomlin helps his team lose. The s*^t will hit the fan if we lose to Seattle.

0-2? Right now I favor Seattle Bad coaching and a Swiss cheese and confused defensive backfield is a terrible combination.

Seattle is not very good. They almost got beat by the bungles at home. They also have to fly across the country. I'd expect the Steelers to lose in S.F. before losing to the Seachickens.

Seattle seems to be one of those teams where they can beat anyone or lose to anyone. I certainly wouldnt sleep on them. The Pats were gashing us up the middle, Seattle can do the same. Of course you have to worry about wilson scrambling as well.

As for the Pats knowing our plays, they did not have to. Our Oline sucked and the game plan was terrible. We had several drops, barely attempted to run, went 4-5 wide w/o a threat to run, etc etc....With the game plan they basically had no chance especially with the lack of adjustments.
