With all this talk of the loser bungles, are we losing focus of whats cming up? My concern is which QB will we be facing? I think 5-pineaple head starts, but Osweiller finishes. I hope we keep our MORE agressive "D" in place for the entire game. Front sould be able to harass whichever QB they have in there. Our OL should be able to protect our QB enough for a short passing game. That is truely what we need to start the game. Eventually we'll have to test them deep and HOPING Ben's soulder can give us a few of those.

WHAT say ye???

I agree. I wanna see this defense bring heat early and often. These guys also have got to stay disciplined and not let one of their running backs shoot by them for 15 yards. Hopefully The dline can handle it up front and the steelers Get creative with the pressure. Denvers oline struggles in pass protection and manning isn't going to outrun anybody, especially because he's still dealing with effects of the plantar fasciitis. These guys have to stay disciplined.

Also, shade tree was in on a few plays against the bungholes and I thought he acquitted himself pretty well. It'd be nice to see him out there a play here or there with the donkeys oline.

Despite the injuries I really think the game is winnable.

Both of their QBs has flaws if you can exploit them.

Last week we had Shazier step up. This week we will need some more of that mixed in with a good game from Heyward and Dupree.

I almost believe Manning took steroids now... not to get better at football or heal or anything like that... he just needed to win a "real life bobblehead look-a-like" competition and needed that skull to grow a bit more... Seriously how doesn't he topple over with that huge cranium?

If we lose, it will be because of the secondary. They almost cost us the game last week except the bungles beat themselves. With that said, I hope they step up their game.

blitz Manning the whole game and get his feet dancing....

Honestly this is probably the best chance we have... with time he will dink us apart... I'm not afraid of him going deep down the field... Bump and blitz, jump some quick routes... there might be some catch and runs that hurt, but it will be better than 100 short knife cuts

wait...the season didn't end last week????

Coolie coolie coolie, that was the Texans season that ended,.................. Our beloved STeeLerS still have a repus lowb to win !!!!!!

Try to know your players better......?? You are right, someone NEEDS to step up, nice to have more than one do it.

Let's dance................. 5-pinapple head, ......Moats/Dupree/Shazier/timmons/heyward/tuitt/ all gun slingers in this spaghetti western

I too feel this game is winable. SURE, not a walk in the park, but very winnable. The more players missing, the HARDER it will get. Denver isn't the strong perfect team as they've faultered recently. Their week off is just that, a week off. OUR team solidified more with that bungles outcome. It made everyone more copacetic to winning. MOMENTUM has a way of elevatingand we gained momentum, big time.

Just finished watching the Tomlin's press conference. The first one to adopt this attitude was the head coach he refused to talk about the Bengals and was focused on the Broncos. Hopefully his attitude permeates down into his team this week. I don't know how similar the Colts offense in 05 is to the Broncos of right now but we need a similar game plan where we confuse Peyton and get constant pressure. Stop the run game is the first priority. And tackle the catch. No screens that turn into big plays. It's time for the defense to step and lead the charge. The investment we made in our Front 7 has to pay off again and be even bigger.

I think our front 7 are up to the task. I know we need to be near flawless to overcome some injuries to other team members. Our 2ndary need to be the ones to make that noticeable step up. Durring the season, we needed one part of the D or the O to step up to get wins, this is not the regular season. We need multip[le parts of all three phases to step up. If it's Weaton returning punts, step up. If it's Coats in for a play or two, step up. If it's Blake in man coverage, step up. YOU get the drift. This game is winable with or without BR & AB, just need to step up, FOR A WHOLE 60 mins !!!!!!!!!!!!

WE................RIDE !!!!!!!!

We're going to need a backup QB to step up, our RB tandem to produce even better than they did last week, DHB to catch, Shazier to have a repeat performance, Blake to get another pick, about 6+ sacks from the front 7, Tomlin to out coach Kubiak and another flawless game from Boswell. If all that happens we've got a punchers chance.

Oh and J Peezy not getting shot would be helpful.

I'll have to rest assured that our veterans on the team relay the message "there ain't no tomorrow, 110% and no sorrow"
This is a winable game, the running game will need a little more on it, wheather short pass considered a run or the hand off type, that will determine a lot. Then if BEN only has three deep passes in him, let them be touch downs !!!!!!!
