My whole problem with Vick is that if you don't trust him to run most of the passing plays in the playbook, and his performance sucks on the plays you do let him run, why is he on the damn field? He is done as a player in this league. He was never a good QB, but was able to get by because he was a fantastic athlete. Now he doesn't even have that, really.

He was 2-4 for one yard at the half. 3-8 for 6 yards when he was injured. Yet our coaches were ready to trot him out there to accomplish what? Hand off to Bell?

This whole episode makes no sense. He had no redeeming value to the Steelers. But for some reason, he is being forced into an offense that he doesn't fit into. It just doesn't make any sense.

It doesn't make any sense whatsoever when you forget (so quickly it's hard to fathom) THAT HE WON A HUGE ROAD GAME FOR US IN THE CLUTCH AGAINST A KEY AFC OPPONENT 8 DAYS AGO.

The look on Bruce's face after Bryant's 88 yard dash through his defense was priceless. Best part of the game for me. Bruce has done a good job in Zona though. And he probably did an even better job in Indy. Seems the split from the Burgh has worked for both parties.
 
again, Arians has proven himself as a Head coach, more or less, and a wr and QB coach... he can draw up some fantastic plays, but in game playcalling wasn't a strength here, or Cleveland, or even when he left for indy... So I wish him well in the desert... as long as he isn't actively trying to get our QB killed I am fine with him

You're bitching about a decision he didn't even make? Lol at some of you people. The sky is falling stuff isn't that far back, the team is more than staying afloat, and had it not been for a horrible kicker we would only be a game back of Cincitucky with two to play against them. LeBeau isn't here any more to give all the defensive credit to either. (Coincidence that they are more aggressive and don't give twenty yard cushions with basically the same players?)

Tomlin does some of the dumbest **** known to man in game (2 point conversion when you could go up three in a tight game anyone?) situations. The team is injury/suspension riddled through the first six games and we sit at 4-2. Give the credit to the damn tooth fairy for all I care, we are still in it and our QB will be back soon. As for Arians, not unlike every other coach who left I don't give two ***** about how he's doing.
 
You need depth in this NFL. If someone emerges as a player who can help you win. You keep them if you can.

And I understand the thinking you get something for them if you think you can't keep them.

But with his short body of work I am not sure it is to that point yet.

I am hoping he can pull off a similar performance Sunday.
