The 3 wildcard game weekend

Personally I think this format works great and I really enjoy it. In all honesty they should keep it next year.

If they ever did extend it to 8 games it would be a bit much... there would either have to be a game played simultaneously or on monday night...

If they did go that route, tgey should add a bye week before the playoffs start or something... but honestly the 7 team format is probably best...
 
I am ok how it is this weekend triple T. Gives fans a full day of football.

Is this just for this year? I agree with you. 3 games per day id great. I didnt like the 1 team bye deal at 1st, but it has grown on me.

Can't wait until we have 8 teams making so they start football at 9am...
 
From a viewing perspective it's fun to have games all day. I think it took away some intrigue during Week 17. My concern is when they move to a 17-game schedule. The schedule all of a sudden becomes imbalanced and injuries are already a big problem. I wonder if we'll see teams rest guys throughout the season if they don't have two bye weeks.

I just don't see how they would go about this. they would have to have 4 rounds in the playoffs. you then could have the 4 division winners with 1st round bye's. go back to the 2 wildcard games, then 4 Divisional game. then comes the new Semi-Final games, followed up bye the Championship games. Damn, that's a lot of games. but think of all the money the NFL would make. because that's all it's really about. Super Bowl would be in mid Feb.

It wouldn't change at all. You'd just have all eight teams play the Wild Card weekend. No bye weeks for anyone.

No, I was jokin, but it means no byes for any teams entering the playoffs.
 
I really like it... it makes getting the top seed a real advantage... it also lets an often deserving non division winner in .. when there were 3 divisions six teams per conference made sense... that 4th division too often puts a loser in ... this puts the numbers above the 50% mark so half tge league isn’t making it... its kind of perfect for now
