I just want to ******* vomit.
No one can beat them, or imitate them. The new soft NFL rules favor Brady. I don't see anyone beating them until Brady's body Falls apart. They have been running that same **** for 15 years or more. No one has been able to consistently stop them. The Steelers should draft 2 pass rushing D linemen, and 1 pass rushing OLBer in the first 3 rounds of the draft. Any offensive guys should be addressed via free agency, or in the later rounds.
I was going to start a thread called "Are they the GOAT in your mind" but seems like you pretty much summed it up.
I'm not going to dispute the cheating claims, but there will be discussions about the steroid era, as well. Five SB wins is Five SB wins, plus 7 trips to the SB. One coach, one QB. What more can be said?
I think that really says it all right there. All you can do is hide from sports for the next five months. It will be all HBO for me. They will be replaying that **** till kingdom come. The catch by Edelman will go down as the biggest catch ever. **** there were a half dozen plays that could have sank them. He had two hit as he threw flutter balls caught and one on the game tie drive that hit the turf. Should have been an easy int.

It is almost statistically impossible for them to be this good without cheating. I lost the link but their was a statistical study done and they are outliers to the point of having to have some outside influence like cheating.
I don't think they cheated but got a fair amount of help from the Refs including three drive extending third and long defensive holding calls.

I will say that i think the following QBs are better than Brady, in no order
Marino
Montana
Elway
Moon
Peyton Manning
Drew Brees
Sorry, but just because Brady has been able to hold down the cushiest job in sports and dink and dunk his way to championsghips, i do not have to automaticallty rate him over QBs that I've watched push the ball down the field and take beatings going against defenses that were allowed to hit the QB and to touch WRs.
What am i supposed to have seen in this game to rate Brady any higher? I saw a guy who looked frustrated and average until Atlanta's pass rush got tired and he had all day to throw.
I don't automatically rate Bradshaw as one of the greatest QBs of all time. Why must i rate Brady up there for team accomplishments?
I feel the same way. I got lured in after the 21-0 lead. Now I am sick as hell. It won't happen again..

It's certainly not genuine. But people are suckers in general. They want to believe it's all on the up and up.
Brees, Moon? Come on, they are not even on the Top 10 or 15 of all-time, let alone better than Brady. I stopped reading after that.
The only team to "stop" them has been NYG. Steelers, Colts(Manning), Jets, Broncos(Manning), Ravens have all struggled. Althouugh..... Baltimore and Manning have been able to conquer New England in routes to SB appearances/wins

I've been a steelers fan since 1976, I say that before I get cursed at here.
Let's be honest: they are the greatest team ever.
I'm over 50 so i've watched alot of football ,and in my mind the greatest QB of all time is Joe Montana NOT Brady. Having said that their team IS the GOAT.
I mean consider that during the Cowboys 90's run(and the beatings the Bills took) the league designed free agency, the cap, etc. to make it very difficult for another dynasty to emerge.
What the Pats have done in that enviroment is nothing short of amazing. And it's all because of Belichick. Make no mistake ,when he retires the Pats will be an average team. He truly has a "next man up" system, not the cluster **** Tomlin loves to spew about.
Year after year they plug in players and win. They take average players that are smart enough to grasp their system and make them look like world beaters. Some will say Belichick's success is only because of Brady....okay who drafted Brady?
That ability to overcome free agency and do what they've done is what makes them the greatest ever.
We can whine all we want about cheating but that won't take away that much from their accomplishments. What they were doing didn't give them enough of an advantage.
They don't need 6 rings or 7. Just the fact that they won 5 with the same coach/qb in the era of free agency makes them undoubtedly the GOAT.
I was very upset when the Falcons let them back in the game(i sensed the inevitable) , can't imagine what Falcon fans are feeling now, but I won't let my dislike of Brady and the Pats force me to kid myself about where they stand in NFL history.
They have won 5 rings. There is no reason to believe that they should not be the favorites next year. They have been to 7 Super Bowls with Brady. That is something.
