Thank You, Kevin Colbert

Colbert like Donahoue has had his gems and Big Swing and misses i.e waiting on William Jackson and settling for Burns, Davis over foirmer saints SS aand long horn.

^^^This^^^
Since Cowher left, Colbert can hardly draft defense for ****.

They've been especially inept at drafting DBs since Tomlin started, like, the worst. Burns is the latest terrible pick, and Davis isn't much better. And is Edmunds worthy of a 1st round pick?

I don't like when Steeler fans act like Browns' fans.

Neither do I Pops but patriot fans acting to be like STEELERS fans,....... really take the booby cake................................................. ****

and berm is a way better STEELERS fan than, if you were totally honest, you are a patriots fan. So **** off again. Talking **** from your geriatic home town in florida.

Salute the nation

Maybe we should thank the Rooney family instead for being so consistent and never wavering in their support of the people they put in charge. Colbert has definitely made some head scratching FA moves and draft picks but also has made some good ones as well. You can look at almost most GM’s and say the same thing. The biggest difference is time and the amount of good decisions has outweighed the bad ones in my opinion.

I don't think Colbert is the issue. He didn't forget how to draft defense. Tomlin's finger prints are all over this. Just like Cowher's finger prints were on his draft picks. Colbert just finds players to fit what the coach is looking for. Tomlin wants a different type of player than Cowher wanted.

Totally agree. That's why Butler is still employed after debacles of recent years. We don't need to run this through AFIS to see that the prints point to one person.

I’m sure I will be blasted for saying but oh well. Why does Colbert get a pass but Tomlin takes the heat?

Because Colbert used to be pretty good at drafting defense. After Shades arrived, no so much.

The inverse could be said for Cowher under Colbert drafting offense. Cowher didn’t want Ben and missed on so many O picks.
Pick your poison.
But Cowher’s teams were never this unfocused.
