Texans vs. Ravens

The game was good. I was invited by my college friend to the game today, and we enjoyed our time tremendously.

We tailgated and walked to and from the stadium from Wicomico, west of MLK, and like I said in other threads, there is no issue there. It was a fun tailgate, and a fun in game experience. Though their fan base is ripping on Flacco. They hate him again, even though he's winning. My buddy was also ripping on Mosley's ability to cover downfield. I said you're crazy, he gets a lot of INTs! He said, sure he can catch, but he can't cover. I said, very few defenders are good receivers, and even less at LB. He's a great receiving LB.

I keep telling people to never write the Rats off until they're dead. Maybe they can do our dirty work, and go beat NE again.
Looking at the second wild card, the rats are in good shape, and will be in great shape if they can beat Detroit. The Bills have a rough schedule ahead, with two games vs NE. The Rats have a head to head over oakland, and will likely have conference record over the Chargers, and Bungles. The Rats have Indy and Cleveland after they play us, then finish with Cincy. If they beat Detroit, they'll have 9 wins going into the home games with the Bungles. If the Bungles lose to us, they can't get to 9 wins without winning the rest of their games. Even with that, including beating the Rats, the Rats will win the tiebreaker, which would be conference record. Thus, Steeler and Rat wins this weekend will all but eliminate Cincy. LA has Cleveland, followed by four beatable teams, but can they really win 7 in a row? Lot of Detroit fans in LA, Buffalo, and Cincy this weekend.

I hate Hairball, but he is a good HC. What he is working with to have them at 6-5 is impressive. They have no offense and their D is lead by old man Donkey Kong Suggs. Mosley is real good, but no one else jumps off the page. Still a solid D and Justin Tucker is as automatic as an ATM. We should spank them again.

The Rats have won something like 9 out of 10 wildcard round games. We don't want them in the playoffs, period. Rivalry games can go either way. They are way too unpredictable.

You know he helped draft "what he has to work with", right?

of course, but my point is they don't have Ray Rice, Todd Heap, Steve Smith and Ray Lewis anymore. They are a younger team that seems to be rebuilding. Plus, they have injuries in the backfield.

On offense the Ravens don't scare me at all. Flaco had 140 yards against Houston. That is terrible. His deep ball really isn't a weapon anymore, and he looks to check down on every play. This is not the same QB that used to beat us with his arm.

I'm not scared at all of the Ravens. They will play HARD nosed football but not a cheap shot game such as the bengals are notorious for. I just hope for wins and injury free games out of either game.

Salute the nation

I'd rather not open against them, but I'd love to see them go to NE.

In Baltimore they were talking about Suggs and his HOF candidacy. It looks to me like he has all the credentials. As much as I hate the guy, he is a hell of a football player, and he doesn't ever give up on any play.

The thing I took away from this game is both teams leave their huge NT's in the game in all situations, goal line, 3rd and long, 1st down, etc, something we should be doing with Hargrave. Also saw Baltimore using 2 NTs on the same play a couple times and they weren't short yardage plays.

And yes **** the Ravens.
