I thought it was recent news as well ..lol.
Well we can be certain that Tomlin had done nothing since 2018 for Terry to change his mind.

What Terry would change today I speculate:
2018: “Mike Tomlin is winning football games, but at the same time, Super Bowls are disappearing, and that's my criticism,"
2025: “No losing seasons doesn’t mean squat anymore , playoff wins and Super Bowls have disappeared, and that’s my criticism.” “I may be dumb but I’m not stupid dadgum it”.

Just like The Steelers trading Pickens didn't leave them in desperation mode for a #2 Right??
Nothing says they are happy with what they have at WR like signing MVS and Theilen from the practice squad.

My god man, look at the date on these comments. Pickens and DK are basically the same skill set. We need a complement at receiver not the same but with attitude issues.

DK and Pickens are not the same skill set at all. Pickens is head and shoulders better than DK has ever been. DK is big and fast, that's it. His hands are not great, he does not high point the ball well, 50/50 balls are more like 30/70 in favor of the defense, and he is not shifty AT ALL. Pickens has an INSANE catch radius, UNREAL body control, is shifty, fast, and high points the ball as good as anyone since Moss/Johnson. DK would have been a great number 2 to Pickens, we took a step down at WR1 and paid A LOT more to do it.

Turns out TB maybe unable to spell cat, but was spot on about Tomlin over 7 years ago.

I absolutely do not think he was wrong in his assessment of the great coach.

I agree with some of that but from a route perspective they are very similar. Neither is a refined route runner, and neither can create separation through pure route running and instead rely on physical ability.

We need mass volume,but honestly the people who actually go to the games will get the job done.
Fans not wasting their money and staying at home would make a lot more noise and might wake up Rooney to the fact we're fed up. I saw more than a few empty seats last week. That's a start.
