I am surprised this hasn't been posted already.

"I played for a tough sucker, and I was afraid of him, and we played our *** off for him because we feared him. I don't see that with this guy," Bradshaw said. "He's chest bumping and all that. I'm the head of the corporation, I'm the CEO, I'm the chairman of the board, I'm talking to the stockholders telling them here's how we're going to do at the end of the quarter. I'm selling this thing. And I'm not delivering the goods, which is championships. You've got to face the criticism. I'm sorry, but he's not my kind of coach. I've said it before, I'll say it again."

And because the Steelers haven't won a Super Bowl since 2008.

"Mike Tomlin is winning football games, but at the same time, Super Bowls are disappearing, and that's my criticism," Bradshaw said. "My criticism is, how can you have this great offense and you being a defensive guy, and I think that football team should have been in another Super Bowl or two. How could they not be? And to lose at home to Jacksonville, I don't care how good of a run Jacksonville got on, I don't care how Jacksonville played New England in the championship game. You don't lose, what? 45-42. Are you kidding me? In a championship game?"

He was perplexed by the coaching moves too -

"He fires the offensive coordinator and keeps the defensive coordinator," Bradshaw said. "Now, I don't know the reason behind that, I've asked a few people and they're as puzzled as I am. I don't know why you fire the offensive coordinator, who gave you 42 points, and you kept the defense, unless you just thought you don't really need an offensive coordinator, anyone can run that offense. So I'll fire him, I'll make the change there, and everybody will look and, go, well he's made some hard changes. But on offense? ... I'd fire that defensive coordinator, pack his *** out the highway, and I'd go find me somebody else who can do the job. I just don't understand that at all."

Say what you want about Terry, but all he is doing is pointing out what's there for everyone to see. Tomlin sucks.

He's right though. Sorry team Cool Shades

In Terry's interview on The Chuck Noll Documentary he lamented that Noll didn't give him a hug.

He clearly said he just wanted a hug from Noll....

Hard to side with a disgruntled employee even if there is some truths sprinkled in.

Sorry Terry has dementia. Tomlin does not suck.

Tomlin doesn't suck, but almost everything he said is correct.
You hung 42 points on the #1 defense last year and lost because your defense gave up 45 points to a BLAKE FN BORTLES led offense with a bunch of nobodies other than Fournette.
So the result is to jettison the OC and keep the DC?
In what 5th ring of hell does that make sense?!?!?!?

Defense gave up 35 points.

Perhaps Ben Roethlisberger shouldn't have fumbled the football?

Overall a complete team loss.

Not sure how he can't see why Haley was fired. His playcalling in the Jags playoff game alone should be reason enough but that was just the last straw. We scored 42 in spite of Haley, not because of him and should have had more. You also kind of need your QB and OC to be on the same page and they sure as hell weren't shipping Ben out.

Terry is a complete idiot. Dude hates everything to do with the Steelers starting with his own head coach, Chuck Noll. He was a great QB but I have zero respect for what he says.

So what does Terry consider a good coach? He hated Noll because he was to hard, he hate Tomlin because he's too soft. Do he want a coach like Atlanta's that took Julio out of the game when they were in the Red Zone.

Haley wasn't fired. He wasn't let go. His contract was up and they chose to go in another direction, and it had a lot to do with the relationship he had or didn't have with Ben. As far as the defense, when Shazier went down, the defense suffered a lot. Is that to say it's all on him? No, but I think they were willing the bet it was definitely a part of it and see what butler could do preparing for a whole season without him.

Time will tell if it was the right call

Don’t get me wrong, I love coaches like Noll, Lombardi, Jimmy Johnson. They aren’t there to be your friend.... their only concern is putting the best players on the field that give them the best chance to win. I’ve thought, since Tomlin came here, that he was to chummy with his players. They don’t feel the pressure to perform consistently from a coach like him. Having said that, however, I don’t know if coaches like the ones I mentioned could have the same success in this era. These youngsters playing now have been so shielded their entire lives from anything and everything that might upset them.... and I truly believe they couldn’t handle a coach that didn’t coddle them to some degree. They have been basically babied their whole life, and I think a hard *** coach would **** their heads up. And don’t throw Belichick up as an example because the only reason he’s had all of his success is because of Brady.... and knowing the other team’s signals.

He definitely has a right to his opinion and I agree with most of it for what little that's worth.

Sounds like he's passionate about his old team and wants to see them win it all. Otherwise he wouldn't give a crap and not cause any waves.

He probably got another book coming out that he is trying to sell, that is the only time he cares about Pittsburgh.

He's probably the main reason I became a Steelers fan. But ya, **** him.

With a living Steelers legend and some minority ownership wanting Tomlin out, he'd better win a playoff game this year.

Doubtful that Tomlin survives the O'Dummy years, and certainly not far into the Kordell era. Tomlin is wasting Ben and company.
