Terrell finally gets into the Hall of Fame...

Andersen and Easley long overdue.

Yes to Tomlinson, and probably Warner.

Neutral on Davis. Short career but, like Swann, impressive.

No to Taylor - not now anyway - and a huge no to Jerruh. But maybe when he's gone (when memory of his unctuousness has faded).

Note: Just saw on NFL Network that Davis played only 78 games....Now I say no. Easley had to wait many years, too many really.

Steeler Pride, good observation. Being on NFL Network, any network, boosts a player's chances.

LaDainian Tomlinson should only be in the Hall of Fame of players who pussied out on their teams when they were needed most..... or for causing pain to others who have the misfortune of listening to him try to navigate the english language on their televisions.

Terrell Davis in the HOF is a huge joke. Guess I shouldnt be surprised

It went from the Hall of Fame to the Hall of Pretty Good a while ago.

Davis no but as much as you may not like TO, he is easily a HOF'er and should have been first ballot.

Agreed! He's being punished for being a jackass. Next year he'll be going against the Hillbilly for the first time. The Hillbilly could be an *** as well, so it will be interesting to see if one of them gets in. Of course the Stabbing Killerman will headline next year's class.

Still waiting on L.C. Greenwood,Donnie Shell and Hines Ward to go. The popularity contest bs of being on tv is ridiculous.

and Faneca

Davis got in based on what he did in 2 seasons. Kurt Warner was good, but the middle years of his career weren't even close to HOF caliber. For Christ's sake he was a back up during that time. I thought to be a HOF'er you had to be great for pretty much the entirety of your career. I definitely think that being on the league network is what gets these guys in. You're more credible as an an analyst with "HOF" nextto your name I guess.

Davis getting in is a joke! That being said, then there should be no debate on Debo getting in! Hell, Greg Lloyd should be in too!

I have always been a big no to Kurt Warner. I just don't see it.

Davis' career is just way too short. I just don't get how:

1117 yards - 1538 yards - 1750 yards - 2008 yards and THAT'S IT get you into the hall of fame. Three great years. That's all it takes now? Wow... what a standard to aspire too.

Glad Easley made it. He's one of the greatest safeties ever (if not the best SS ever). I know his career is short as well and maybe the veterans committee vote is how it had to happen, but I will never say Davis was the best ever at his position like I say that about Easley.

I guess I'm just a fan of excellence over at least 7-8 years. Dawkins should and will be in. He was really, really good. Owens will get in eventually. Faneca should get in.

Davis is a HUGE joke. But if he fits the criteria then we can expect more halfassed commentators getting in. This just another "straw" that is the pile on the NFL back. I am B & G glasses STEELERS at all times but even with that there are better candidates waiting to get in. A waste of spot for a less than average inductee.

Salute the nation

It's now the "hall of very good"

Still no Rocky Bleier though.

Terrell Davis had no business getting in. He had a three year burst of greatest, but only had one other good season. After his fourth year he fell off a cliff and had terrible production. By contrast, although an idiot, Terrell Owens had nine seasons of over 1,000 yards receiving and eight seasons with 10 or more touchdowns.

The only good news from the Davis selection is James Harrison should be guaranteed to make it. He was one of the top defensive players (statistically) for a 3-4 year span and had a very long career where he was still a force even though his numbers didn't necessarily back it up. Add in the greatest defensive play in Super Bowl history and he should be a lock.

Davis was the best rb in the league for a three year stretch... his career was cut short by injury, and his replacements were nearly as effective as he was because of the evil blocking scheme they ran... I'm fine with him getting in, id have been fine if they had waited till the vet commission put him in too

T.O. Was a beast at his position. He was a lot more physical than Boldin, could turn a game around when he wanted. His antics were annoying in a time when football had that blue collar atmosphere. I still remember him low balling the ravens and doing ray ray's dance

Warner was awesome. Don't see how you can argue against him.
