Guy played 7 years total... Last 3 of those years he had 67 rushes, 78 rushes, and 167 rushes respectively. Basically he's considered a finalist for the hall based on 4 years. This is happening while guys like Drew Pearson, Cliff Branch, Ken Stabler, etc. get ignored. Only reason he's on this list is because of his spot on NFL Network... What a joke this whole process has become.

As I asked in another thread, if Davis ever gets in, should James Harrison? I would say absolutely.

Agree. Great player when he was healthy but simply didn't play very long.

which is completely, totally and forever trumped by Bettis. Class dismissed. go shine Brady's balls some more.

In your haste to be a classless douche bag, you didn't notice that I never said his work trumped Bettis, not once. But thanks for providing more proof that some Steeler fans are classless losers. You, and your ilk, are embarrassments to all decent Steeler fans across the country. If you had more intelligence, you would realize this, but, alas, you do not. Enjoy your imbecilic, classless state of life.

Well, you do live in Tampa, so............

While we're on the topic of jokes, how did Teddy effing Bridgewater win ROTY over Odell Beckham Jr.? ODB was the best rookie in the league this year and it's not even close.

Probably because he missed a lot of games. But I agree, he is heads and shoulders the best rookie of the class so far. It sure wasn't Shazier.

That is a complete joke. Beckham looked nothing like a rookie out there and makes me feel worse that he didn't fall to the Steelers.

Anyone else noticed that a certain formerly prolific poster has all of a sudden mysteriously "vanished" just about the same time this guy showed up. Ironically enough, they share A LOT of the same views, most specifically they share a complete disdain and dislike for other Steeler fans......and for 90% of Steeler Nation members. Now one is way more extreme and **** house crazy granted....but I was just thinking that using another persona would be a pretty great way of getting your anger, rage and lunacy out at the people you despise without casting yourself in a bad light. Not making any accusations mind you, just a simple observation.

For weird some reason, I find myself wondering what your take is on Lawrence TImmons, but I can't quite figure out why Simple curiosity I guess.

Timmons was our best player on the field last year on D. He was a solid draft pick and has proven worthy of his draft pick. He is not the best player at his position in the NFL, but I put him in the top 10, even though this list does not.

I would put him in front of Hawk, Jackson and Dansby.

Timmons is not perfect, he sometimes runs by ball carriers and misses tackles. But I would hate to see how bad this D would be without him.

Dully noted....

I think Davis has a case...especially because of injury issues that shortened his career, but then again the guys who did get in with shorter careers didn't have guys fill in so fantastically with no real lost production like the Denver RBs did .... the case can really be made that he a an above average back playing in one of the great, and dirtiest, Rush Blocking systems of all time, and Orlandis Gary and Mike Anderson putting up similar stats every year after 98 certainly doesn't help his case...

If its said to get to the Hall of fame you have to carve out a slice of Pro football history so that you have to be mentioned in its retelling, it is an undeniable fact that the Broncos rushing Game was one of those stories in the late 90's, but was it Davis that drove that, or Kubiak's scheme... that is the question....

Martavis Bryant, **** face.

you can bet your *** Terrell Davis will get in the HOF this year over the Bus.

I wouldn't bet money on it but you're probably right.

**** Terrell Davis. He should maybe get in 10 years from now.

It is noted by many as why davis will get in, sooner than later. nfl network. If he gets in before the BUS, then once again, as so many times lately, the nfl is letting it's fans down. What would one expect?

Salute the nation

The comparison here is Lynn Swann. Davis and Swann got HOF consideration based on post-season play. Davis for production and Swann for all-time memorable catches.

A more appropriate comparison would be Gayle Sayers who was the best back in the league for a short time before his injury.

Yes and both careers were cut short by knee injuries. Some think Sayrers was the best RB ever.

my post was in suggestion that Davis should not get in at the expense of Bettis. Bettis was a ******* horse. He never had a decent QB and when he was on the field, he was getting the ball. Still, he was unstoppable. 8-9, sometimes even 10-man fronts.

Davis was good, but he needed longevity, IMO, to secure a spot. There's no way I put Davis in ahead of Bettis.

and while I do live in Tampa, I'm no big fan of Tampa. So, spit that on Brady's taint and shine that **** while you massage his balls, *****.

He was trying to bait you into something. Congrats on sidestepping the dogshit pile.
