Ten Greatest Steelers of All Time

and you were wrong
No I'm not. This is based on opinion. I'm talking about a couple spots in the order. Just better players ahead of him. The Immaculate Reception is on my mother's birthday. I still remember it even though I was only a little kid. Franco is great player, but, frankly (excuse the pun) there are a couple Steelers ahead of him.

This would be a great thread to revisit in the cold dark days of mid February- training camp.

But since I am here, I think Troy needs to be on the list.

-Rings
-Stats (don't have them, but they've got to be good)
-Signature plays (many in huge moments)
-Allowed different defensive looks due to freakish athletic ability
-Zero off field issues

The reason Franco is on there is because he just about started it all with the Immaculate Reception is he too high who's to say but he helped make that offense go

The Steelers had so many great linebackers that you could fill the hall with just them but as far as Harrison being in the top 25 I don't think so you can make an argument 4 Andy Russell being in the top 25 for that matter

Outstanding player, although not the nicest guy in the world.

He lived a couple of doors down from my brother in Shadyside in the early '70's. It was known in the neighborhood to keep your distance from him. He put the s-u-r-l in surly.

But a heck of a runner.

If Franco is not on the list you are too young to have remembered the 70s teams. He carried the offense for many of those years.
