teams that cheats the most in history of pro sports...

So, you are admitting the Steelers use of juice was not OK?

Not in the sense that it's good for you. But it was not illegal to use at the time, any player could use steroids, the practice was started by the Chargers not the Steelers, therefore it was not cheating. "Cheating" is an unfair advantage. When everybody can do it, then it's not an unfair advantage. The Steelers were just f'n better than everybody else.

Funny how cheatriot fans always bring up the 70s steroids as if that compares to them being caught cheating over and over and over again.

One wasn't against the rules the other was.

Not too complicated for intelligent people to figure out.

Coke and heroin used to be legal too. Does that make the use at the time OK?

My stance as a libertarian leaning conservative is yes it is okay for an adult to use those things.

Yes, you are right: SD probably started wide use of juice, but theirs were orals, thus, didn't seem as extreme to the players taking them. The staff referred to them as "vitamins."

I believe the Steelers were one of the 1st to use injections, which are highly more effective. i went to a college where juice use was rampant, although I lifted with juicers I never tried the stuff.

When I had breakfast with Steve Courson, he was the largest human I was ever face-to-face with at the time.

Another personal attack? So be it.

I wouldn't race out to use the IQ card if I were you. I am guessing you would score about a 13 on the Wonderlic test.

The number 2 team on the list should be the Flyers. Cause....well...it's the Flyers

Even while juicing, you still have to put in work to get the desired results. You just cant stick a needle in your *** and go sit on the couch stuffing your face full of junk. You still gotta hit the weights, sprints etc. The Steelers of the 70's were just brutes

Sure, no one said all you have to do is stick your *** and lay on the couch. But the difference between strength, size and speed with juicing vs. without is colossal. I have seen guys smaller than me, go on the sauce, and add a crazy amount of muscle mass, and they didn't work out particularly hard and yet they grew traps, delts, bis, tris, etc, like crazy. They didn't even look like the same person, all in mere weeks. It was crazy. However, the juice guys will be on today tries to diminish their outward appearance to help not get busted. Although, they have no test for HGH that they are using and that stuff also makes you strong like bull.

Pats and the only other team I can think of is the 70-80s Raiders. They would step on their mothers throat to win. I doubt if they have the big named debacles but you can't tell me they wouldn't have done any of these things.

Another brilliant retort PatriotPoP

BTW your name wasn't mentioned, but if the shoe fits wear it.

6 rings no cheating

FYI POoP...check your story and sources. Steroid usage was actually introduced by a gentleman by the name of Alvin Roy, strength coach of the then AFL's San Diego Chargers in 1963, seven years prior to the Steelers decade of domination. Alvin went on to introduce the use of steroids to the Chiefs, Cowboys, and the Raiders, spreading the use of performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) throughout the NFL. 95% of the Chargers admittedly were "juicing". How we're those teams? Steelers of the 70s were talented and coached by a class act legend with ZERO red markers next to his name. They were talented and the best coached club. Simple as that!

1) N.E. Patriots
2) NBA Refs who liked to help the Chicago Bulls from 1991-1993 & 1996-1998

(I know you said Pro Sports but there are a few NCAA teams we all could name!)

Have you sat and had breakfast with Steve Courson?

No, you didn't. I did.

So..........Having breakfast with Steve makes you an expert? Well let me be a little more specific. Show me the rule book telling us these "STEROIDS" were illegal. Oh and make sure it's dated same as the 70's STEELERS. Hate to see you try to mimic your true team and "cheat" one through on us. I've had breakfast with many prominante and not so prominante citizens. Either doesn't make me more or less intelligent but BOTH make me more respective in knowledge .

Salute the nation

Yes they were brutes. Steeler haters say "the Steelers used roids" as if to imply the entire team did, when in fact it was mainly the O linemen.

Can you blame them? How would you like to go up against Mean Joe, Dwight White, Holmes, and Greenwood everyday in practice?lol

Regardless they were legal.

Who the **** brought this up again? Its irrelevant to the thread topic.

And let's not forget the double standard for Patriots. Big Ben was suspended for six games, reduced to four, for allegations. He was never arrested or charged. Though looking back, I think it was the best thing for him. Julian Edelman, on the other hand, WAS arrested and charged with sexual assault at a Halloween party, never missed a single snap for it. Why is that?

That is a false appeal to authority. First, we can't verify the truthfulness of this claim. Secondly, it is irrelevant to the discussion, as you're attempting to deflect away from the Cheatriots with IRRELEVANT accusations of a team that was doing nothing illegal, again it was not against the rules to juice, it was allowed, there was no negative view of steroids in the NFL at the time, how many different ways must this be described and explained to you before you get it.

How about this, was the Patriots video taping of defensive signals illegal under NFL rules in the early 2000s? Was the Steelers use of steroids illegal under NFL rules in the 70s?

When you answer those simple questions, your whole argument becomes useless.

Here's the fun fact. In the 1960s-70s, steroids weren't used as a performance enhancer, they were used strictly to recover from injuries at a faster rate. The byproduct of giving them to so many athletes, is they found out that steroids could get you big, and do it fast! That is why everyone was built like ******* tanks in the 80s.

In the 70s, everyone was still very natural in their sizes, minus the few people that were genetically taller and bigger than other players.

PoP brought it up ;)

I don't condone or agree with the use of steroids and such, but back in the 70's, the players actually cared if they won or lost. Unlike today, when everyone is promoting themselves, above and beyond the team. it's not just football, buit every athlete is above their game. amazing how God like they portray themselves, while pointing up after everything they do.

guess im saying, when you grow up working to achieve something for your team, you do whatever you can to be there for the team.

it's all about coin and status these days...in every sport.
