Tank for Tua 2019 thread!

A lot of qbs have been successful with saban, but Tua is by far the best pure passer. I think he will be successful in the NFL. However i am definitely against the whole tanking idea

Fully agree and who the **** should be scared of Lamar........... ****, the only thing the Browns did wrong was not put a spy on him. He isn't going to get yaz with his pin point accuracy and he will be concussed soon enough..............RG3

Steelers don't tank...on purpose, anyway. They just fail to show up occasionally.
 
When was the last time Alabama had a QB drafted that did crap in the NFL? Hell, 75% of their first round picks end up being busts.

Not sure what past Alabama QBs have to do with it. He’s clearly a different type of cat than those guys. Some people questioned Saquon because past PSU RBs failed in the league. But he is obviously a rare breed just like Tua

First off tanking for anyone is stupid because it’s never guaranteed you will be in a position to get who you want and even if you do no such thing as “sure fire can’t miss” prospect. Whoever said Mayfield and Jackson will even be relevant in 2-3 years from now. Jackson hasn’t proven anything besides he can run with the football. Last I checked running QB’s don’t win in this league long term. Mayfield is a head case and immature. Ben still has at least 2-3 good years left in him and the verdict is still out on Rudolph. Who knows how he will develop sitting behind Ben. Let’s not panic and continue to fix our defense.
 
Left handed QBs just don’t pan out often either.

No college player is a sure fire NFL star.

Tanking a season is a ***** quitter move and only little ******* would suggest it
 
From one Aggie to another, come on man, you know better than that. That’s not what we do.
I think Ben gets an extension through 2021 and barring major injury we are
covered three more seasons. In the meantime I expect significant progress from Mason Rudolph to send young Mr.Dobbs on his way to building rockets.
First thing is first, fix this coaching staff. Tomlin will be here in 2019 regardless of how we all feel but gut the others out of here, save Munch and Fitchner.
And keep Cool Shades away from the defense.
Get someone to manage the game clock and challenges even though it bothers me to have to say that. Head Coach should be able to handle this.

Luck hasn’t won squat and missed an entire season and a half to injury. Not the poster child of what I would tank to get in return.
