Can we get rid of Switzer please? I think we brought him on because we couldn't find anyone who could safely field a kickoff. I think we're past using a roster spot for that single talent.

I could see Deon Cain developing into a Martavis Bryant but with less off field issues. A lot of similarities.

I agree ...I would like to see Deon Cain and Ben hooking up on the field....... he had off field issues in college...... hopefully he chooses a different path than Martavis Bryant took
I think Switzer's time has come to an end as Johnson provides more upside on a poorly coached ST.
If we can stop dropping catchable balls as a group then numbers for guys like JuJu should go back up

Get rid of Holton. If he makes the team, it needs to be purely as a special teamer. He should never sniff the field as a WR unless we have injuries. Putting him in as the No. 2 or No. 3 WR as much as they did last year was absolutely ridiculous.

Call me crazy but I like what we have on Juju, DJ, Washington and Cain. The first three of them are very young, have upside and already starting experience, Cain was a very nice grab from another team's PS, seems like a good prospect. Get another fast and tall WR to compete with him and we are ready.

I admit I really liked Switzer back when Ben was throwing. He seemed to have a good feel for those "tough yard" spots where you need 6 and he's 6.25 yards downfield ready to catch and get trucked.

But last year, he REALLY wasn't a factor at all on offense. It looked as though he had zero agility and escapability. I always thought of him as basically a safety blanket outlet receiver for Ben, but last year he was just a guy on the active roster taking up space. And that made me sad.

I really like Quadree, and I'm happy he's back. He's very versatile as a slot or X plus he has return skills.

Right now JuJu and Switzer are the slots. Quadree can take Switzers spot or backup DJ at the X.

Whaaaaaaat??? And lose Holton's patented run-down-the-field-and-not-get-open-leading-to-another-incompletion specialty??

Dude racked up 3 catches and 21 yards in 15 targets. That is damn near 1.5 yards per target, which would rank in the top 1,000,000 in NFL history, thank you very much.
