By: Jessica Costello SteelerNation.com   The Coronavirus pandemic has still left the question unanswered — will fans be in NFL stadiums during the 2020 season? If fans are allowed in the stadiums, it will mostly likely be at a limited capacity with masks required upon entry. But, there is the possibility of the NFL season […]

I think there will be fans in the stadiums just perhaps not as many. I still question if a few positive tests will cause a season cancellation. Not sure I would buy stock in a full season happening...........

GREAT question and write up Jesica.

I see if the fans are limited or not in attendance, "HOME" field advantage being slipped away to a lesser degree. It will be a hell of a lot easier on opposing teams at Hienz Field if no fans are present. It will also be a hell of a lot easier for A few road games the STEELERS have to travel to.

Salute the nation

with the numbers on the rise and the impact of July 4th holiday still pending, it is really hard to say. I have a bad feeling that the start of August infection data is going to get significantly higher (2-4 weeks after 7/4). At some point, the NFL or local jurisdictions may well say "No Fans". If left to the states and municipalities, it will vary from stadium to stadium (and that is what i think the NFL will do). If a season gets played - well, that is going to depend on how many players test positive when camps start. Any preseason game is a total waste at this point as I can see teams leaving key starters at home on away preseason games.

Like you, i would not buy stock in a full season right now.
