Switz vs. Rogers...who makes the roster?

They both have ALOT to prove and it is a crucial time in both their careers....Switz didn't have a very good year last year. Rogers has been a FORUM CULT FAVORITE here for a long time. The last 2 years have been unkind to him. 2016 he was solid.

They both are smaller and have a tendency to get stuffed

I say let these ******* settle it on the field.....

Let them battle. Whoever does better, gets a helmet.

I'm holding out a crazy wish that Washington blows up and becomes the uncontested #2.

I can dream!

I've been hoping that too, but Cope has been a bit of a Debbie Downer on Washington (and perhaps for good reason, he understands the little things WRs do well/not well much better than myself).

He came out balling last preseason and made some incredible catches, then I think he put too much pressure on himself or something, and just disappeared for most of the year. Had a good game against New England and that was end-of-year so the arrow is pointing up. Add in he's better conditioned and they say he seems much more confident than last year, so here's to hoping.

I would like to see him separate a little better. Perhaps the weight loss and better route running will help with that. I have to agree with Cope on Washington being a big question mark. Until we see the production match the hype.

I think that as last season went on Ben's chemistry with Switz grew and trust in the quick WR too, they might have a great connection this season with a full season and TC on their belt together

I do believe in Moncrief. Ben is gonna make this boy shine.

I’m more interested in who the other starter is at wide receiver.

JuJu and Moncreif, who is the third?? Who do you think wins this battle.? I think the beginning of season starter will be replaced during the season and NOT because of injury.

I know you weren't asking me, but I'll toss my guess in anyway...Washington should be the third receiver going into camp. In theory, he should have the sophomore bump while Johnson should have the rookie transition blues kinda thing. In theory. DJ is getting a lot of love from what I can see and that itch on my scalp tells me DJ is going to surpass Washington on the depth chart at some point in the season*. It could happen in camp, but I doubt it. This staff likes to bring guys along over time. They will take the "show me" approach and give DJ a few reps in regular season to see how he handles the big stage. If he does well, they will feed him more and more.

*that or the itch is telling me its time for a shower in the next day or so.

That was in response to him being an a hole, I'm allowed to defend myself. Blubber constantly starts crap (and eats).

You have no idea how much he eats. And you constantly act like a twatwaffle so not sure why you think anyone shouldn't be an ******* to you.I see no football discussions from you today. Why don't you get back to that.

Are you 15 years old? That's not defending yourself, that's schoolyard name-calling.

Dale at DK in an article on the cap situation points out that Switzer is more cap friendly than Rogers. It looks like about a 900K difference which doesn't sound like much, but considering how tight under the cap the team is right now, that may well weigh into the decision.
