MIller suffered a dislocated knee while attempting to make a third-quarter touchdown catch. According to Mortensen's sources, Miller's dislocated knee is considered "more significant" than a regular dislocation, which made it a serious injury. Vascular surgeons were called in, and the procedure included grafting tissue from Miller's right leg to repair the damaged artery.

One of the talking heads on the Chicago media this morning was interviewing a Dr. and said the injury is actually quite similar to the Bridgewater injury in terms of severity. I think it will be tough for a WR or RB to come back from that level of injury.

Pro Football Doc said this is a career threatening injury. Pretty scary ****

Wow, that didn't even look like a whole lot of contact.

Tough break...

This was digusting

Attention whoring headline

I watched that game, the injury wasn't "gruesome" at all. You couldn't really tell what happened. Just looked like he twisted it a bit, then dropped the ball.

it looked pretty nasty to me.

It wasn't like his heel was pointed in the direction his toes should have been or anything like that - no spurting blood, no exposed bones penetrating through the uniform, no vomiting players after they come to his side

They kept the cameras on him for minutes and minutes of reviewing the dropped TD - not much attention was even paid to him lying there other than, "oh, he's hurt" - "was it a catch"?
