Thread For lowB repuS Discussion

I found a Falcons forum and registered as Ron Swanson, my other alter ego, since Ron Burgundy was taken.

http://boards.atlantafalcons.com/

I found another one but I didn't like for format.

They seem to think the Pats**** are cheating bastiges too, although no profanity is allowed on their board.

I'll stick to Steeler Nation. If you need to use my alter ego. MTC gives permission to use Rico Sampson ;)

I think Atlanta will win comfortably. They have nobody who can match Julio Jones. If they double or triple team him then the falcons other weapons will gash them. Several team have tried to take Julio away and Ryan has thrown to Sanu and big play WR Taylor Gabriel (who the browns cut).

We saw the pats scheme to take away AB and the steelers other weapons were open all day. Problem is, Rogers fumbled and Coates and Hamilton dropped passes. Then Bell got hurt and it removed him as a receiving threat.

Atlanta has 2 speedy back that are factors as receivers and Sanu and Gabriel have proven dependable. They even have decent TEs with rookie Austin Hooper and Toilolo who are chain mover types.

Atlanta's OL is really good as well. They are a balanced team with a good run game.

Defensively, Atlanta was kind of like the steelers this year with some young players stepping up. Vic Beasley led the NFL in sacks. Deion Jones is fast and athletic at MLB as is Keanu Neal at Safety.

Unlike the steelers, the Falcons have not chosen to live in their fears and play soft zones. They have actually used their young athletes to be aggressive. The defense is still a work in progress and nowhere near great, but they do have the athletes to press the Pats WRs.

Head Coach Dan Quinn was DC for Seattle when he faced the Pats in the SB a few years ago. He knows that you can't just sit back against them.

i expect Brady will make some plays on an aggressive Atlanta defense, but that defense will also make enough plays to keep the Pats in check.

I'm too pissed off to add anything. Best of luck though. The pats**** are 4-4 in Super Bowls. Make them 4-5. The giants still have a soft place in my heart for ******* up that perfect season for the cheats. I'd like to see Atlanta blow the ******* doors off of them.

What is worse than losing in the AFC championship game? Losing in the lowB repuS. 1995 and 2010 really sucked.

After watching the game the other night I think it was more of the Steelers playing bad than it was the Patriots playing great.

Have a feeling the Falcons are going to whip some of that Patriot ***.....

Their offense and defense both looked awful good against the Packers.
Remember too, the Pats**** don't blow people out at neutral sites. They lost two SB's and the four they won were all by 4 points or less.

give me a break. we all know what's going to happen. belichick will have a plan to shut down Julio Jones, Jones will have something along the line of 5-6 catches for no more than 70-80 yards, no touchdowns, maybe 1 or 2 catches for first down all night, and he'll likely go a good quarter, quarter and a half without a catch at all. That forces Ryan to earn it with Sanu and Gabriel when throwing 8-12 yds downfield, and I think we all know that ain't happening. Patriots linebackers will play sound, fundamental down-hill football when attacking atl's running backs, coleman and freeman won't be able to breath out there. meanwhile, tommy boy will have multiple plays on multiple drives where the falcons' pass rush won't get within even a few feet of him, brady will take a good 5-6 seconds and find edelman, hogan or some ******* you and i have never even heard of, for wide open completions. By the time atlanta is able to forment any type of rhythm on offense, the score will be something like 17-0, and America (minus the jagoffs in the northeast) will essentially turn their focus 100% to socializing, drinking booze and eating party food @ their respective superbowl parties and gatherings. patriots will win 38-24

I explained that Ryan will throw to Sanu and Gabriel just like Ben threw to Rogers and Coates and Hamilton. The difference is Sanu and Gabriel made plays all year. Gabriel averaged 16.5 per reception.

Atlanta is really a run first team though, so that is what must be stopped first. The Pats have been playing a big nickel as their main defense and that has worked because so few teams can honestly run the ball these days. Atlanta is one that can.

Atlanta also throws to their RBs a lot. Freeman and Coleman combined for 85 receptions for over 800 yards. Coleman averaged 13.5 per reception. Coleman ran a 4.39 at his pro day a few years ago. He has gamebreaking speed.

The Steelers had plenty of big play opportuinities because of all the attention paid to AB. Atlanta will have those same chances.

sorry, i just don't see all these wonderful things coming to fruition for ATL on this stage, against those ************* patriots. new england will throw something their way early, that will have them frazzled, and it's pretty much gonna be game over after that. believe me, i pray i'm wrong and you're right, and we all spend the evening guffawing our ***** off as the patriots get boat-raced up and down the field, all of us warm and fuzzy inside. but i ain't holdin' m'breath.

Someone needs to find out where the Pats are staying and set a trash can on fire - to avoid the false alarm charge - and then pull the alarm. PS, don't get caught.

It also would be nice if someone could get a frequency spectrum analyzer and find out what frequency the Pats are using in their practices and broadcast some random Boston station. Probably too well protected for a game day jamming.
