No way they were taking those points off the board and risking losing the whole "Brady Belichick greatest comeback" story.

Good isolation job, I thought he was down too!. The multiple downfield " holding" penalties against the Falcs in one series had me chuckling. Patrick Chung mugged Jesse James after he made a few nice catches in the AFCC game, never called. Chung was called once last night for his same brand of pass defense that he continues the whole game yet the Falcs surrender nearly 30 yards in penalties in the same series? Oh snap look at the scoreboard, the Patties have no points! Whaaaaat?

ya they showed that a few times this morning and not one person questioned it, even on the other side of the ball

The ball is on the right side of the Falcons player's leg. He reached out with his arm and had it cradled in his wrist so it's not in his elbow where the arrow is pointing.

As much as I wanted him to be down, if you watch the replay, he was clearly in before his knee hit based on where he reached out with the ball.

This may be unpopular but I thought the game was called well. Even the Falcons defensive holdings were legit. On the surface it sounds fishy they were called for 3 in the same series but they showed them all and you could clearly see they were in fact holds. I can't think of any questionable calls aside from maybe the pass interference against the falcons in OT at the goal-line which I thought was pretty weak given the circumstances but by the book, he did hit him early without playing the ball. It actually reminded me of the Ravens lowB repuS where that exact same play occurred in the end zone on the final play and no flag was thrown.

I cannot for the life of me figure out when an offensive player should be called for an illegal pick on a WR screen. In the 1st half, Hogan was called for blocking early on a screen to the RB which made sense. The same sort of play was used in one of their 2 point conversions where both WR's were already blocking the CB's as Amendola was coming across in motion and in the process of receiving a pass. How is one a penalty but not the other?

I think the conspiracy lies in the fact that EVERY team has headset issues against the Pats. Falcons had to burn a TO because Ryan lost communication in his helmet. And this occurred not too long after an extended halftime...

After the game, they were interviewing Marsha. He said he wanted to go be with his family. I could swear I heard them say Brady was dealing with some health issues this year that he kept out of the public. Did anyone catch that? Was it Brady or someone else they were talking about?

Brady's mother has cancer. She doing chemotherapy. It's been kept under wraps quite a bit but she was at the game in a head scarf.

Eh. It's over. ATL choked. They imploded. **** Goodell, sorry to hear about mama Brady. Her son is a douche though

OMFG, is there ever going to be an NFL win where someone doesn't blame the officiating? Are we saying the NFL spotted the Falcons 21 points just to make it interesting? Did a team ever have a better chance to win a Super Bowl and blow it this badly?

Let's face it, the Patriots right now are the best team in football. As much as it disgusts me to say that.

I respectfully disagree.

The refs couldn't see the facemask on the ATL WR but they did see the holding on the OL on the very same play??? BS - both penalties should have negated each other - ATL keeps momentum.

The PI call at the end of the game - #45 turns his head (albeit slightly) and the *'s get PI on the 1 yard line. BS.

The screen play late in the game to James White - BLATANT chock block - *'s gain 15 yard.

But keep on thinking that the refs had nothing to do w/ the results. ATL had issues but they were magnified once the game got closer...

Wait a minute...

How did the refs miss this??? They played no part in the miraculous comeback by football god, Tom Brady...

Well you know what everyone will say, "well they would've gotten in in the next play anyways"

you guys are all crazy thinking this is some kinda conspiracy, i no you hate the pats but come on, that was an unbelievable come back, stop blaming the ******* refs there the best time in football best coached best qb like it or not

What a cluster **** from Atlanta. Should have known relying on them would be a disaster. How does a team come back from that kind of loss? Are already fickle Atlanta fans going to show up next season to that overbloated new stadium?

5-2 in Super Bowls and they were 2 fluke plays away from being 7-0. Think about that.

True, however, they are also a few fluke plays from being 0-7. Every win was by 4 points or less, and look at all the fluke plays they got last night.

Up by 8 in FG range who the FAK calls pass plays to get your QB sacked and out of FG range only to punt the ball back to a team who just made your Defense their Beeches???
Oops, silly me :violin:

Was gonna say, even if Belicheat's cheating only gains an infinitesimal advantage, until last night they won 4 SB's by 3 points and one by 4. Could be all you need.
The Falcons lost this one as much as the Pats**** won it. Of course in the second half you have Ernie Adams with all the Falcons play calls from the first half.

We've all been questioning that since last night

I agree with jbem. But the coaching towards the end is a bit---sketchy

Not to say anything, but I've seen our coach/QB do that exact same stupid **** back in the day too when we get in field goal range when Arians was our O.C.

Situational football is horrible all around the league. You think with all the EA Madden getting played around the world, people would learn the ins/outs of situational football and clock management a ton better, but it seems to have only gotten worse.

i hear you , i really didnt care who won to be honest so i wasnt that invested

alot of smart fans here, that really no football, but some guys go to far. that football is fixed and compare it to wrestling, lol, if i really though that i wouldnt watch it
