Super Bowl game thread.

I gotta give the Pats props.....

I did not want the Pats to win, but you know what? Sometimes you just have to give credit where credit is due....

What just happened is pretty freakin amazing, and deserves accolades.........

400 yds passing played a part. We have to get him down or put pressure. We didn't all game and they didn't it the second half

Who didn't know as soon as they won the coin toss that they would go right down the field and score. When the Pats tied it, Atlantas *** puckered so tight you couldn't have gotten a blade of grass up there. As soon as that ball crossed the goal line on the two point conversion that tied it, the Falcons were done.

A FG instead of a sack and ATL wins the game. Matt Ryan and their offense cost them the game.

Touch a nerve there AJ? You said the same **** during the game to defend Tomlin against his **** *** game plan. Yeah, the falcons should have played zone defense like Butler and Tomlin. Atlantas offense cost them the game, not their man/man defense.

Their defense was somewhat opportunistic in the first half, but the pats** had zero trouble moving the ball. They also had the ball for 40 ******* minutes. Their defense allowed them to go 90 yards to tie the damn game. Hard to say thag the falcon offense cost them the game.

Take those accolades and shove them up Tom Brady's ***. Right up there with the officials that gave them the game.

A FG instead of a stupid sack cost them the game. Their D was on the field forever because their offense couldn't stay on the field.

The real key is officiating......................................DID you not see all the holding / pushing off???

Salute the nation

Or the chop block on the screen that moved the ball down to the 15 yard line?

Ball was at the 25. The penalty was blatantly obvious, and should have moved the ball back to the 40

Bullshit... the best offense in the league had to put 3 points on the board in the last 18 minutes to win the Super Bowl and instead they pissed down their leg. It most certainly was on the offense.

Lack of pressure and **** playcalls/play in the second half cost them the game. It was a total team effort to **** up this game. All except the one DT who left all he had on the field. The rest of the Falcons shouldn't even attempt to look that man in the eye.

As soon as the game got close, the refs were in NEs pocket, how many times can they run a pick, hell the two point conversion Edleman or Hogan, can't remember which, is plowing the DB into the end zone before Marsha even threw it

Can you imagine if you had the Falcons +3 and the score was 28-3? You would have been planning on how to spend the winnings?

Well hey I always say I would rather have the Steeler's lose in the playoffs, or not make the playoffs at all vs losing in the lwoB repuS.

Atlanta and their fans have to be absolutely devastated right now.

nah

OMFG, is there ever going to be an NFL win where someone doesn't blame the officiating? Are we saying the NFL spotted the Falcons 21 points just to make it interesting? Did a team ever have a better chance to win a Super Bowl and blow it this badly?

Let's face it, the Patriots right now are the best team in football. As much as it disgusts me to say that.

I don't disagree that their offense did their part in this colossal **** up, but come the **** on. You were on the field for 40 ******* minutes. As much as your offense could t sustain drives, you couldn't ******* stop them either. They allowed the god damn pateiots** go 90 ******* yards to tie the ****** up. Their defense could hardly pass as a speed bump in that fourth quarter. The ******* patriots* moved the ball in the first half as well so it wasn't like it was news in the fourth quarter. A defense gives up damn near 500 yards passing in the game and you say it's ALL on the offense. Come on.

I have to agree with you, OFTB. All this **** about the officiating and people(all over the NFL) constantly blaming it on the refs is getting absurd. People all want to see less involvement from the officials, but then wanna ***** that calls weren't made.

i mean that was pretty incredible, i have to agree

In the 2nd half the Falcons offense couldn't stay on the field for longer than 3 minutes, and you wonder why the D was so tired? Doubt anyone was bitching about the D when they held the Cheats to 3 points in the first half. The Falcons needed 3 points in 17 minutes to win the game and their offense **** the bed.

Wwe crap in my view. All of a sudden Atlanta forgets how to play after handing the pats their *** three quarters of the game. Just running it up the middle on two of those drives that are down around the 25 ensures a field goal shot. It defies logic just like blowing a massive lead that's never been done before.

It's deflating for me just like taking all of the hitting out so dickbags can throw for a billion cheap yards.

Was the defense allowed to step up and make a play or a stop in the second half or is thag on the offense too? Atlanta completely botched their final offensive drive, no question. However, the defense held them to 3 points for the first half. They apparently forgot how to play at halftime.
