Sunday Night Football - Ravens vs. Steelers: Part One

No deep threat will kill this offense, look what Brown did for Baltimore, Tomlins balls shrunk and we were terrified to pressure Flacco

Brown is a deep threat, JuJu makes big plays, McDonald has been a big threat........Ben was just way off period
 
Here's the truth......Tomlin inherited Cower's team and won a SB with them. Polly and Harrison in their primes amongst other solid players and a young Ben. Then they lost a SB. Then they lost championship games and then divisional games and now they won't make the playoffs. He has led a team and done little to slow the underahievement and deterioration. Pretty soon we will be a 5-11 team or even worse 4-12 or 2-14 when Ben retires. The question is how many years before Tomlin get fired (because he will get fired). It could be four or five years

This loss was on Tomlin. If not for a bad fumble, we are down 21-3 before halftime. We changed everything we were doing on offense in the second half and Coach Cliche lives in his fear and acts scared shitless to blitz. The problems with this team start and end with Tomlin

We can't blitz. Our DBs are too ******* stupid to not **** up anything but a cover 2. We need to drop 7 and 8 in coverage to make up for the 3 or 4 dumb ************* who will blow their assignment on each play.
 
This team was sleepwalking the entire first quarter,....AS USUAL!!!

And not a single point in the second half again!!! That's on the coaching staff 100%!!
 
Tomlin: we played great last 30 seconds of the game when the Ravens took a kneel on the ball. Hopefully we can carry that momentum next week.

Lol, Ben went from lights out to cold in the blink of an eye after we changed what worked in the first half. Adjustments and lack there of cost us this game.
 
Defense couldn't stop a pee wee team the way they played in the 2nd half.
Such an odd emotionaless game tonight.

AB is not a deep threat at all, he's quick, his speed scares no one, JUJU makes plays, but he scares no one, McDonald was blocking the entire second half.
Ben was off no one said he wasn't, but look at the Ravens D in the second half, they just lined their guys up across the field and manned up on our wrs, they feared no one going deep

So you pressure a QB to get rid of the ball quicker. A great pass rush covers up a weak secondary.

Regardless of how ****** the defense is/has been, they did enough to win this game. No ******* reason whatsoever for Ben to not have this offense moving up and down the field. Oh, you know, except for when he eyes Brown from the snap on third down, and forces it into two and three defenders anyways. Not one ******* throw to a single tight end in the second half. Not one. When the god damn rats had nothing to slow McDonald. No, we give it to Conner for 1-3 yards on first down, Ben throws some stupid 3 yard pass in the middle of the field on second down, then ta-daaaaa!, the force to brown on third that’s either behind him, or out of bounds. Then, the defense is thrown back out there after a handful of plays, and expected to hold all the fucjing time. It was the same damn thing last week too. Allllllllll second half was more about the offenses miscues then it was anything else, sans the last two drives. The throw behind Brown in the middle of the field probably goes the distance if he throws it where it’s supposed to go. Defense is a complete joke; but Ben came up empty in this one.
 
We had some excitement in the 2nd but overall that was the dullest Ravens game I've ever seen. Feel sorry for folks who spent big bucks to watch that steaming pile of **** game.
 
Flacco is not good when pressured. I can understand not blitzing in plenty of situations but with the score close in the fourth and it's like 1st and 20 or 2nd and 18 or 3ed and ten they rush 3. And Flacco sits back there to a degree that if we blitzed he wouldn't have got the ball off. We all see this over and over so

A) are the coaches stupid?
B) are they lazy?
C) are they arrogant and feel like the game plan is the game plan (like the standard is the standard)?
D) all of the above?

I’m not going to defend the coaching, but plays were there to be had in that second half.
 
They need to have a team meeting and work some **** out. And what was up with Ben in the 2nd half? Was he playing injured?
