I just lost my transmission heading out to Pittsburgh off of the Bedford exit mile marker 147. If anybody is going to the game give me a call on my cell. Two of us in the car to take to Pittsburgh if you can.

If i was anywhere near or reasonably far, I'd come get yaz. Even if I left now it would take near 24hrs to get there. If I was real close I'd bring my 1954 International Super "C" tractor with modified BACON cooker so I could feed yaz.

Yes, I'm fine.

Been a crazy couple of days.

So the tow truck showed up in Bedford around 2:30, and we were back on the road by 3pm, only to have the tow truck start having engine trouble on the turnpike. FML...

Driver pulled over twice, once to check the engine, and another time to check the hoses. Turns out the overdrive was on and was screwing with his ability to drive over 55. So we get to Aamco and drop the car, do the key drop thing and Uber down to the tailgate. We get to the Steeler Nation tailgate at about 5:30, so although we missed a day in the city, we did make the tailgate!

We watched that debacle of a game, and got a hotel at the double tree downtown. First thing monday morning, we get a rental and start heading back. I had to work at 2pm at the Live Casino near Baltimore. We hit stopped traffic on the turnpike. My phone is dead (since I didn't have my charger thinking it was a day trip). I have 3 people supposed to meet me at 2pm for load in, and I didn't get home till 1:30. Grabbed my clothes, loaded the van, and hit the road. Surprisingly, I was only 10min late and got to the team at 2:10, checked in, ran the event, had a light dinner at the casino, than drove up for my hockey game at 9:30.

It was my first time playing in a month since the ribs were bad. We beat the #1 team 4-2 and I stopped a late shootout chance. I felt pretty good after not playing for so long. I slept a ton Tue and then had to work again at the casino. Got in late, fell asleep watching TV. Daughter woke me up, and I got her fed and on the bus. That takes me to now.

So what did I miss? Lolz...

Sing along

This is it,...One day in the life one "Cope" at a time.

I'm glad you are OK and yes sometimes life gets us a little. It's the getting part that actually keep us awake and active so there is that. Also make the easy more appreciative.
Again Cope,... glad yaz good. You should add a running commentary on the "Life and Times of Cope"
