I don’t think they’re world beaters, but this is just the game, against this team on short rest that makes me nervous as a fan. Especially with players bitching about it. You wonder how many players are more focused on feeling sorry for themselves than preparing to win a football game.

I took a lot of grief over my comments on last week's game. The problems on offense aren't new. This slow start nonsense has been a problem all year. As I said, winning masks a lot of problems. All those problems were on display tonight. Realistically, this team could finish 11-5. I'll get dragged for saying that, but its not out of the realm of possibility.

You're right, these problems have been here all season long and have only been exasperated the last few games. I like to take a glass is half full attitude but completely understand and agree with the points you're making. Maybe now the team will take a more introspective look at themselves. But with another short week, it could be difficult. Honestly, I expect to see the exact same offense next week against the Bills. I would expect a more deliberate effort in the running game against the Bungles.
