Steelers vs Texans

Its easy to ***** at a QB for holding the ball, but when your Wrs aren't getting open and you cant block anyone even long enough to throw the damn ball away, you may as well not even call a pass play...

I have been saying for years that Ben can't read defenses. He needs for the defense to break down to find a receiver. It's why he hangs onto the ball so long.
 
Did I just see Archer afraid to take the ball upfield? What's with the sideways running?

Then he may as well just drop back if the first read isn't open, which it won't be because no one can get open, then just throw it away. That would make everyone happy. If he doesn't hold the ball, no one is getting open.

Youre talking about ONE play...thats the exception...not the norm....Ben is holding that ball til someone clears...he will hardly ever anticipate or throw a receiver open like the really good ones do.

That's my fist taste of Dri. He can get from one sideline to the other like nobody's business.
 
I am sorry, but Dri Archer is by far the dumbest draft pick of the past 5 years at least... high risk luxury pick when you have as many holes as we did was simply stupid
 
Since they actually can make plays with McCullers out there I expect Tomlin to have him riding the bench the rest of the game.
 
Archer is worthless. Don't think I have ever seen him turn north with the ball.
