Steelers vs. Tampa Bay

I cant see us winning more than 7 games this season, and thats if we have an abundance of good things go our way. If things are so-so, probably 5-6 wins
 
Some of the penalties were total bull **** but the amount we put up every week is a lack of discipline. Discipline comes from the coaches.

The Rooneys will do NOTHING until their cheap *** wallets suffer. All of the fans need to walk out...they got embarrassed AGAIN!

Reality is this team is poorly coached and the owners don't give a damn.
 
I'm done bitching about any other coaches except tomlin, the drafts have gone to **** under him, we come out flat and lost vs horrible teams, we always get a **** load of penalties, and we can't protect a lead under him our D looks more like he's trying to play the Tampa 2 with 3-4 personel

Knowing the situation, Haley's play calling was suspect when they got the ball back with under 2 minutes to ice the game. That said, the D **** the bed. Wing **** the bed. The penalties reflect on an undisciplined team. It was a total clusterfuck, **** the bed effort from the whole team from top (Tomlin, Haley, LeBeau) on down (Beachum, Wallace, Worilds, ALLEN etc).

It has nothing to do with money. Tomlin is the 9th highest paid coach in the league. They could hire almost anyone and save money.
 
this comes down to players making plays and they did not. so many oppurtunities in this game literally slipped through our fingers. The penalties were obscene both the one we deserved and the bullshit ones that we did not. The refs are way to flag happy this year.

The 15 yard penalties were all valid.

Troy has a guy for a 4 yard loss, key possession, making it 2nd and 14 ... except for grabbing the face mask. The punt pinning Tampa deep was excellent ... except for the face mask. The penalties were earned and deserved.

The refs had nothing to do with this loss.

NOTHING.

The woeful pass defense? The hibernating 2nd half offense? The insistence on throwing 50 yard passes when the running game and 10 yard passes are shredding the defense?

That **** caused the loss.
 
Everybody here knew it was a loss as soon as they turtled up on that last third down. What are they paying Ben for if they don't trust him to make a five yard pass. This defense has been bend not break with big well timed blitzes for years. We just don't have the talent to get to the QB any more. If they win seven games I'll be shocked. Tomlin and the rest of them need to hit the bricks.

Never has any other coach been so ill prepared for a game as Tomlin is, week in, week out.

I don't know how many games we'll luck out and win but I'm with you Omar, we need to just get used to this kind of sloppy play, it ain't changin' any time soon.

I can't stand his coaching, but he's not the only one.
 
Nothing changes until Tomlin goes.

You are a racist. The head coach has nothing to do with the draft or the team's effort level or their discipline

This team is 100% Tomlin's - players, attitude, preparation, attention to detail, effort, consistency, avoiding penalties all stem from quality coaching.

Poor preparation, lack of attention to detail, inconsistent effort, numerous penalties, and a pattern of playing down to the opponent stem from lousy coaching.

Soooooo ... which one applies to the Steelers?

press conferences

Tomlin weaknesses
everything else
 
Where in the hell is the no huddle? That is a Tomlin call, not Haley, if it was up to the OC we would've used it a ton when BA was here since he and Ben were so close.
 
If we had won this game by 14, I would still be pissed. We should be beating teams like this by 25 points.
 
I don't understand, every Steelers media member (print, TV, radio, website, blog) has said that Tomlin has final say (tie breaker if you will) over Colbert when it comes to drafting.
Are they misinformed?
