They really dodged a bullet as that second down play probably should have been PI on Timmons.
 
So we won in spite of playing like **** and almost letting a **** team beat us. I just don't GET why Tomlin thinks this is OK. The fans hate this ****.....do Colbert, Rooney, and Tomlin NOT pay attention to what the fans think????

yes it really kills me that our DBs are never in a position to make a play on the ball when it is in the air....if they were we'd be able to stop a lot of drives and give the ball back to our offense.

But what about playing an average team, rather than a garbage team? Can we afford this type of showing against that opponent?

If not, then what the hell does this coaching staff need to do to get a better and more consistent effort?

You have to play to win here. If you can't complete a five yard pass you suck.
 
So we throw a pass designed to gain 4 yards, same as a run play, only with the added risk of giving the Bucs a free timeout. Nice!!
 
Like the throw but need one more for the first down or they get it with plenty of time and good position.

Tomlin and his players acknowledge and accept that they have work to do. They acknowledge they can never take any team lightly. They accept the win and move on. They take responsibility for all the penalties, but in this game of football, it's something they obviously will deal with.
 
Timmons should've turned his head, but just like the ball was underthrown and I think the ball hit timmons before he made contact with the TE
 
I hate these coaches on this team. What the Hell are we paying Ben for if it isn't to make that play? Idiots.
