Ok it's weds let's get this going! Pumped yet another week and ready to roll. Certainly, my leve of excitement has been lessened by the injuries we have. However, as with the end of week 16 my thoughts are the same, we got this!!!

I think without a doubt Ben plays. BB has always been a drama king with "how bad his injury is." I think he likes the hero badge. Not saying he isnt ****** up, but I think he will be fine. Haley must put together a gem to help prevent the hits in Ben.

AB I think is also a go. While harder to say given its out of our hands to determine his availability I still say he is in. When he plays I expect another MONSTER day for him.

The defense needs to pressure the shot out of manning. Given how shoddy Den line has been, I like our chances to at least knock him to the ground on a regular basis. We just can't fall into the Omaha bs.

Everyone said how den rbs came to life with manning. And sure they did. But did anyone look at how depleted SD was during that game! Their players were dropping like flies all game, they had nothing to play for and I think they just wanted to end the season.

I also liked what I seen from SD offense during that game. Rivers is a baller. No quit in him and again with none left their offense moved the ball.

Calling it now.
1. Steelers Special teams TD
2. MB monster game.
3. Steelers RB twins go nuts
4. Manning gets injuries and the big O comes in
5. Joey doesn't get shot in Den his time

Let's ride!!!!

Pressure both Manning and or Oz and be in their faces. Knock receivers off their timing routes, let our QB manage the game.

That would require us to play them on the line. I would like to see that but noooo 15 yards back.

First play on def we need to blitz Blake and wack manning. Get those feet dancing!

Word is osweiler is pretty banged up and hasn't gone through some practices over the last two weeks. Looking like if manning is banged up or struggles, his back up at that point is some guy named sieman. Atleast, this is what's been stated on the donkey boards.

Both teams are banged up. Let's get through this one without any more and onto KC.

That's our best hope, Manning isn't in great shape either.

Oz may not be active for the game. He's battling a knee.

Manning isn't mobile.... Pressure him pressure him pressure him.

One of the keys to the game.

Besides Ben playing and playing well.

I will drop this here

How Pittsburgh Steelers QBs practiced without Ben Roethlisberger pre-Broncos

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers first-team offense belonged to Landry Jones at Wednesday's practice with Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder) not participating.

Michael Vick said he did get some first-team snaps on offense, but only in the run game. Markus Wheaton said Jones played with the same confidence he's had since coming off the bench to beat the Arizona Cardinals in in Week 6.

"I saw Landry being Landry," Wheaton said. "It's tough to step into a game without preparing. I think this past game, the fans didn't get to see Landry at his full strength because he didn't prepare as a starter."

Wheaton was echoing the thoughts of Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, who said on Tuesday that Jones would get first-team reps and that the third-year quarterback was watching Pittsburgh's offensive staff develop a game plan for Sunday's 4:40 p.m. kickoff against the Denver Broncos.

Roethlisberger hadn't thrown since Saturday, as of Wednesday morning

Jones was 2 of 5 for 11 yards and an interception in replacing Roethlisberger against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday before Roethlisberger returned to lead the winning drive. The former Oklahoma signal caller said he felt like he lost the game when he threw his interception with 1:43 left in the game and Pittsburgh trailing by 1.

Vick has largely been relegated to scout team duty since Jones leapfrogged him on the Steelers' depth chart. But he said he's gone from knowing 50 percent of the playbook to knowing 80-90 percent.

Having signed with the team five weeks before his first start as a Steeler, details like hot routes and pass protection forced him to think and play robotically, he said.

"It was kind of keeping me off balance in terms of just playing aggressive. It's one thing when you know. Then you can play fast and so I really couldn't play as fast as I wanted to," Vick said. "But now I know enough that I could play fast."

Wheaton said he's seen the same improvements in Vick, getting comfortable beyond the basic installation of plays.

Tomlin left open the possibility of the Steelers dressing three quarterbacks in Denver – they typically have just two on the game day roster – but Vick said he doesn't know if they will.

He is preparing to play, though.

The Steelers didn't run their offense any differently without Roethlisberger, Wheaton said. It's the team's offense.

"Ben's been here a lot longer so he knows it a little better," Wheaton said. "He's more fluent with it but Landry's capable of running it real well."

Anyone have a really disgusting pile of dog **** in their yard? If Ben doesn't play and we get Laundry Vick against that D, I need to make a burfict doll to beat the crap out of and I am looking for a decent model for his face... I mean it has to be one ugly pile too.... and look dumber than normal **** too... cause we know Burfict is dumber than ****.....

I can already see a 50 yd pass from Big Ben to AB first play of scrimmage . Would that not be something.

AB still feeling the effects of the concussion. Still some time between now and Sunday but....

They will both play.

That's how I've been getting myself to sleep at night. By repeating that

All right, let's get this **** started. I'm psyched for this game. Let's rock and kick Denver's ***. Play it LOUD

All everyone keeps on saying is "Pressure, pressure, pressure.". I disagree. The only way we get pressure is to blitz. Peyton is going to read it and get rid of it. What we have to do is TACKLE, TACKLE, TACKLE after the catch. Don't get me wrong, we do have to blitz some, but He's not going deep because he can't throw it deep. We have to tackle the catch.

The line is about to go to Double Digits in this one... with Williams, Brown, and Bell out, and Ben hobbled at best, this will be the biggest underdog role in the playoff this team has had in years
