If it were a road game, I'd be more concerned, but you're right, I doubt they come close to covering the spread. That's assuming the spread is 15.5.

When Shades loses to bad teams it's usually on the road. Shades doesn't lose on Monday nights, especially at home. They'll win but if the spread stays at 15.5 I don't think they'll cover.

Sitting here at home on a Saturday Night (no life) just after 9pm watching the Pens game, I checked a few sites and the Steelers are favored by 14...…...they win but don't cover....

Coach had been starting the threads this season but I said something about him starting them but not taking the time to see who the winner(s) is and I ended up doing it, so he might have got pissy and decided not to do it any more. Or maybe because DKPittsburghSports was starting more threads than he was.
 
The Dolphins have been playing hard. They do have weapons on offense. Devante Parker is a deep threat and Preston Williams looks like a good young WR with size. They have even started using TE Mike Gesicki. Fitzpatrick gives them a shot to score some points because he will make some aggressive throws.

I'm hoping to see some improvements of the steelers offense coming out of the bye. Mostly I'm hoping to see some runs either out of pistol formation or from under center. Shotgun runs are limited. The RB is flat footed when he gets the ball. That is fine for a guy like Bell but not for Conner and Snell.

Get that run game going and the play action should open up. Rudolph has been OK. He's thinking too much. I want to see him make quicker decisions.

Miami's defense has big holes. Guys should be open. Let's hope Rudolph pulls the trigger. I think he will.

Besides, the game is at night, and as we know Rudolph used to be a Cowboy baby, so he's riding at night, then he'll sleep all day.

I predict if we pull a “Tomlin special” against this team I am going to be Pissed... we ought to win by double digits....
 
Just don't see the Fins messing up their perfect season.

At home on MNF against a tanking team....should make me confident but actually makes me kinda nervous. Still, the defense is playing well and the Fins Oline is apparently a sieve. Fitz has hopefully used up whatever "Magic" he had this year and is prone to INTs. Defense dominates early and the offense does just enough to get the W:

This is a game the Steelers should win. By a large margin. But they won't.
