Steelers vs Denver game thread

Hands have finally "un-clammed", adrenaline subsided. No doubt a gray hair or two in my whiskers from this one

It wasn't downed because Shamarko let got of it. The penalty was because Denver's offense assumed it was downed and started to walk onto the field.
 
give Tomlin and his coaching staff the props they deserve for the halftime adjustments. He takes a lot of **** when they lose. He is owed some today. That was a signature win.

In the post-game presser Shades did not admit to any adjustments, only that they executed better.

Dittos, although the announcers said at the end of the game that this was the third consecutive game that Denver has not scored a point in the second half.

The punting team has to do more than touch the ball to down. Once the punting team touches the ball without downing it, the receiving team can pick up the ball and run with it with no possibility of bad results.

If they fumble, ball goes back to where last touched by kicking team.

Should have been downed because Shamrkos foot was oob. Refs probably didn't see that in normal time.

Yes, absolutely. Gotta be fair, they got **** turned around and then some. Good job in the 2nd half by the coaches
 
What a come back. Hats off to the defense and offense, that was a great second half. That goes even with ...what are you doing Ben. I'll take Ben all day long. I want in my heart to believe Tomlin chewed *** at half time and actually did some changes.

I've got to hand it to Coach Shades and Butler for the turn around. Terrific come back win. Hope it's a season difference maker type of win. And I hope it means Blake is finally on the bench.
 
I quit posting in here at halftime....and we won!!! Maybe I shouldn't post in the next 2 game threads....lol.

What a comeback...we looked like 2 different teams...I don't know what happened at halftime, but whatever it was....holy ****.
