Steelers vs Denver game thread

Tomlin isn't coaching the D, Butler is.

But it is time for Tomlin to go in there and make some adjustments as a head coach.
 
Speaking of Heath, have we even thrown to him yet? They have no safeties to cover him.
 
The offense hasn't done **** either.. 2 FGs. We knew the defense was terrible but the offense is supposed to be a force.. they are just as inconsistent as the Defense.
 
They gotta pull Blake. Put in Boykin for all that is holy.

Our offense can't beat Denver. As Denver said they wouldn't.
 
I'm thinking maybe our DBs just aren't bug enough to hold and interfere on every play like Denver has been doing.
 
I blame the first half on today's marijuana. It's simply too strong. I think we're gonna come down, settle down and throw down in the second half. It's impossible to cover anyone when your lips are stuck to your teeth..

Really I think everyone was hoping Butler would not do the same thing that Dick was doing....it seemed earlier in the season we were not but not so much of late. I will still say I hate the cushions we play all the time. And our zone coverage sucks also. Might as well man up on them. What is the down side? They our moving and scoring on us as it is pretty easily up to this point.
 
They better get a stop on this first drive or someone needs to starting to post mock drafts.

This is exactly the defense Tomlin wanted. Remember he's the one that wanted to move to more of a Tampa 2 defense and move away from the traditional 3-4 defense. He made the move to change the defense. He gets the credit or the blame.
 
Gonna be impossible to win when you're trading 8 yard receptions for >20 yards receptions, ...and trading 1 FG for every 2 TDs. Not gonna happen.
 
My lucky hot wings are almost done. There's still a chance.
 
That Osweiler kid is pretty good. Maybe Peyton will take a pay cut to be his backup.
 
Hit Osweiler on that shoulder and get him out. That is our only chance to win this game.

Tomlin wanted MORE zone with the Tampa 2. They never manned up even early in the season. They were getting pressure by blitzing and have teams turn the ball over. Now they either get TOs or they are in trouble.
