Steelers vs. Bills flexed...

Night game attendance is atrocious, especially in December. No doubt there’ll be a lot of people who can’t make this game now.

Watch, Buffalo fans will find a way to make it to the game.

Nothing worse than waiting till Sunday night to watch a game.

Well maybe waiting till Monday night, but it still sucks....

Isn't this a good thing?
We do play better in primetime at home.

It's a five star match-up cause we're in it! lol

this is great for those of us that don't live in PA and don't wish to pay for the right to watch games. Now we can watch without having to hunt a live feed

I get the fact that for those attending the game, and especially coming from out of town, this type of thing sucks, but for everyone else it's a good thing.

Personally, I've been able to see every game this year, only needing an internet feed twice, even the stains game yesterday was locally broadcast.

Have an event the day before or I'd totally fly in for this game. Love prime time games. I'll settle for Heinz Field AZ next sunday

Being on pacific time zone and a little selfish,I love the prime time games. Make a big chili all day,it’s a perfect end for a Sunday. Game over before 8, love it. Now if I was an out of towner driving a distance for the game or flying in,I might be a little pissed off,or with young kids staying up late. But come on.......give yourself an early x’mas present, call in sick, stay an extra night, live it up a little and represent. It’s a big frigging game!

You know,I cut off my cable 4 years ago. I bought an HD antenna for 25$,it picks up 5 channels in crystal clear HD. Every year I think,****,I’ve got to get some type of service to get all the games. Out of those channels I get for free,3 of them play nfl games on Sunday, and cover Thursday. So far this year I think the Steelers haven’t been on twice, which I then stream. Previous years the same. I think about all those years I was paying around 150-180 a month for every channel under the sun. Man. No wonder so many are snipping the cord.

Winter game between two teams with strong defenses and mediocre offenses. This is a game not likely to have a national TV audience on the edge of their seats - maybe 9-6? NFL gonna be sorry they flexed this potential snooze fest to prime time.

Look at the rest of the schedule for that week. It sucks.

Any Steelers game in prime time is pretty good for the networks. They know we draw viewers and have a big fan base.

What da fuq???? The wife and I got my son (who is in Johnstown) a ticket to the Bills game as a Christmas present. He could go to the game, get home, get some sleep and still get to work the next morning. Not now. WTH???? Some people buy tickets for a reason (time). Hope he can get someone to cover for him that Monday, otherwise we are out some $$$. DAMN!
.
This. Real people are buying those early game seats for a reason. It's not just random. Coolie likes it cause he lives with steers and queers. Not so great for Joe the plumber who buys season Tix, or one game ticket.

The NFL and teams are least concerned with ticket holders.

Not just a big NFL fan base but the biggest. Other teams might get bandwagoners when the getting is good and make it seem like they have a large fanbase. And some teams have decent followings. But no fanbase takes over stadiums like the Steelers. I remember back when message boards were fresh. I used to look at the followings. All paled in comparison. Some fans might not be overly happy through the three ring circus, or simply don't attend as many games as they used to. And don't get me started on millennials. But make them happy like JuJu and Conner did and you see sales like no other. It is us then take a step down.
