Steelers - titans prediction thread - battle of 5 and 0

If we take the lead early it will change how the game is played by the Titans offense.
Hope we can put some long sustained scoring drives together to stop Henry from building any steam up. He will still put up yards but if we keep him under 90 I think we go 6-0

Radio today reporting that Henry leads the league in Yards After Contact and the Steelers defense leads the league in allowing the least Yards After Contact.

Advanced stats puts this Titans team in the top 3 offenses in the league
Their defense is middling at best.... I think we match up well with them as long as their run up the middle game doesn’t kill our run defense, which is very good overall but can occasionally get hit up the middle...

Titans fans are pretty obnoxious these days for some reason... I’ll opt to avoid their messageboards... Early this week they were full of salt and totally obtuse overconfidence...

I still feel they got off light for intentionally circumventing the practice rules and costing us the bye week...

Ideally this is the game the offense finally breaks out and the defense holds henry to minimum production... it would be nice to tee off on tanenhill... they have nothing behind him

Henry will have a few bursts,he is good. While we shut him down,we must contain their QB as well. Ryan can definitely run for a few firsts as well. This will be Big Ben’s first 400+ yard game of the season. Give him time OLine. Watch him shred them. It’s time.

#2 contain tanenhill

#3 play with a lead

#4 Sing and dance with our success, a W-I-N

slash asked for who would have most tackles and I'd really like to see someone on the DL actually conquer that, meaning O'Henry is O'tackled early in run.

Derrick Henry 18 carries for 77 yards, doesn't get as many reps as normal because the **** fall behind and are forced to pass to keep the clock alive

but the hit from Spillane on Henry in the redzone was a hell of a collision

Matt Canada has been a great addition IMO. Seems he's brought some needed creativity to the offense.

I just mean in general. The motions, sets, WR picks/routes. They're balanced and playing/coaching smart. Yeah the 2nd half of this game looked pretty bad, but Ben was off on some throws/his rhythm and credit Tenn for making some great adjustments. They're not all going to be pretty.
 
I think I came pretty close. Close game as I predicted down to the wire. I predicted 31 to 28. I will say, hats off to the Titans and Vrabel. He has that team being a class act. Titans players were reaching a hand out to pick our boys up.

You and DIc where close but you guessed the Steelers score spot on. So you have the edge. Cooch might think he was closer but he picked the wrong team and went against the Steelers so he doesn't get ****.
