By Justin McGonigle www.SteelerNation.com The NFL released the schedule for wild card weekend and it will feature a Sunday night matchup at Heinz Field. The Browns will come to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers at 8:15 eastern on January 10. This will mark the first Sunday night playoff game in Heinz Field history. #Steelers.Browns.Sunday Night.#HereWeGo […]

What the?!?! But...but the Rog and the league office HATES the Steelers!! They were supposed to schedule us early on Saturday, thereby giving us the least amt of time to prepare...because, ya know, they HAAAATE us so much!! Whats going on here?!

The Rog is playing the other angle. The Rog understands that nobody will be shocked when the Steelers beat the Clowns and advance (nobody except clowns fans that is). So, the Rog is making and end around move to ensure that we have the shortest possible week before we host the Rats. Make no mistake, this is pre-ordained by the NFL. The only way The Purple Jackson's can truly earn respect is by beating the big bad Steelers (who, beat the ratfucks twice this year). So, you see, the Rog is subtly trying to weaken the Steelers ahead of the second round. It won't work, of course. I consulted a Jedi who is knowledgable in such things. He says the Steelers will select ******** with the 32cnd pick in the NFL draft. I can't tell you who ******** is without risking a light saber in my arse.

Don't believe me? adjust your tin foil hat. It looks crooked all the way from over here.

Prepare for what? A team they face twice a season and will have faced in the previous week. Not saying it’s a conspiracy against the Steelers, but playing as absolutely late as possible on Sunday night, a win will very likely mean Steelers travel to Buffalo... who is playing the absolute earliest on Saturday, so if that matchup is scheduled for following Saturday, Buffalo will be on normal rest at home, with Steelers traveling on likely the shortest possible rest?

lmao incredible. now it's "yeah! they're making it so we have less time to prepare for Buffalo, the ********!! I'm not saying it's a conspiracy, but, well....it's a goddamned conspiracy!"

******* pathetic.

You know what your problem is? you can't spot an UFO even if the photoshopped image is smaking you in the face.

ROFL.

I am doing my best to not crack a smile here. I really am.

I’d say “******* pathetic” is slightly extreme. I say, “not saying it’s a conspiracy,” because I don’t think it was at all scheduled with the intent to screw the Steelers, but with the possibility of going to Buffalo on 6 days rest if they win, would be less than ideal

What’s ******* pathetic is the extreme vile response so often, by many posters, to others on this board with common love for Steeler football, but in instance of difference of opinion.

I can't speak for others, but I am just goofin' around. (hands you a tin foil hat and some party favors) - we going playoffs my Steeler brother. Perhaps for the last time with a few guys we now and love. The time to eat, drink, and enjoy is upon us.

Totally hear ya! However many extra weeks to watch our guys go at it is awesome! Just see “******* pathetic” like really?

“You’re crazy bro!!!” probably feels about the right degree of intensity for a mild difference of opinion on scheduling?

You know what? You're right. Maybe it was a bit extreme.

That said, have a fart in your face, you ************

Jesus ******* christ, the team gets the longest possible rest period heading into a playoff game, and you Nancy’s are crying about a game that may not even happen. That’s a special kind of stupid.

Meh every team but Kc in the afc playoffs we have already faced, so prep time is less important... this is probably a make up call to make sure the Browns get the majority of their covid guys back, and honestly I don’t mind that...

exactly, and lets's say Buffalo wins Saturday, there's still 3 possible teams for them to play, us, tenn, baltimore, so if they are going to use the extra 18 hours or so to prepare, they're going to have to prepare for 3 teams, not just us.

Patience young PADAWAN, that will be next week's agenda..................

Salute the nation

To play Buffalo, we would have to first beat Cleveland. Play like we did in the first game - or even the second game with all our healthy scratches available - and its a done deal. Play like we played in our first three losses and its over by halftime.

and the have the best ratings draw so putting them in them in the top TV slot should not be a surprise.

I hate night games. Would have liked a 1 PM game but if it's 8:15, then that's what it is. I'll have to take the next day off work.

I think the worse part of it all is having to put up with Collinsworthless.

For the Baker slurpfest.

Yeah for sure, it was a pretty good slurpfest yesterday, the announcers got so excited everytime the Browns made a play

it was annoying as hell. Baker's 2 yard run to seal the win could be the greatest play in Browns' history. Well, according to those jacklys.
