Steelers-Texans game thread - hashtag maximum Wattage

if HOU plays another half like the first, its game over for PIT. 2-1 isnt a bad record, but the defense is being exposed. We can barely get close to Watson with a pass rush. Maybe we have gotten him 2 times, but Lamar Jackson will have a field day against our D unless something changes.
 
I saw watt getting triple teamed. Dupree needs to step up. The middle blitz’s we’re working. Just saying.

you stop with the overemotional reaction to other people who want to blow off steam. all you ******* do during game threads is cry to others when they're griping during times when the team looks like ****. piss off
 
Hopefully what they're taking note of is that Watson more often than not throws deep. He isn't checking down, he's throwing for 25 yards.

Oh, and that the defense should probably, you know... show up.
 
Lamar and the Rats will put up 50 on this D. Hope Watt is OK and back in the 2nd half.
 
Tomlin plays not to lose not to win. We have seen it way to many times. Yes I know it is half time but I say yea it is half time and Tomlin has made no move to change the defense and the offensive calls have been suspect until we had the ball under three minutes. So now second half begins and we all wonder what Steeler teams comes back on the field.
 
Why can't they do pistol with Conner in the game? No when Conner is in there they have him going east west from shotgun.

fair point. He did get a great extension, but we see QBs getting overpaid all the time. And Im really not saying he is getting over paid anyway. Im not saying he is not good, but he does not play like this every game. He cannot miss right now. That is all Im saying. To use your contract analogy, he is exceeding his contract at least in the 1st half. He might not do it in the 2nd half, but the first half he didnt make a mistake really at all. Ben makes what $35M per year and he overthrew his receiver on consecutive plays by 8-10 yards and one was into double coverage. I havent see Watson throw into double coverage yet I guess because we keep giving him wide open seams for his receivers and he hits them between the numbers everytime.

Hell, Im just frustrated. I expect the opposing QB to at least make some mistakes and Watson just isnt. So maybe he is Peyton Manning 2.0 and I just didnt know it. My bad. But to take his team 80 yards in 1:47 and score against our supposed great D just shows that things are definitely going his way today.
