so far business as usual. Sign your own, and then sprinkle in.

I want them to be a little more free agent aggressive.

Again I know it isn't the norm, but at least bring in one D upgrade. Let us see the urgency that needs to be.

FA hasn't started yet they can only sign their own

Good enough - he can fill in wherever

Don't expect any top tier free agents. It's not happening in light of the probability of new contracts for Timmons, Tuitt, Jones, Villy and Cockrell. Won't be much left after that.

Hubbard surprised me last year. My expectations were pretty low, though. He played well enough I was interested in seeing him stay. Hope he keeps it up.

Glad he is being kept. I'm on the bring in a Big IMPACT player FA signing. ONE that is "D" oriented and can imeadiately contribut to the breaking of t*mmy b*y bones. NEXT up as they say.

Fred Stelerunski is top notch potential draft pick. IQ of 158 with a photographic memory. He runs a 4.19 40,benches 225lbs 67 times 6'4 265lbs vertical leap of 67 inches and hits like someone smacked his momma, shot his dog and burned his house down. He's been a Steeler fan since childhood.....

Oh wait that was a dream.

He did play well enough when needed, BUT IMO Finney is clearly better at Guard, and Hawkins showed something as a rookie before getting hurt.

Hubbard is our 8th OL Player, no better.

Finney will get tagged too, he's an ERFA. Also he'd be the swing Guard while Hubbard would be the swing Tackle. Both are cheap and provide depth also they are young, signing Hubbard doesn't mean they are throwing Finney to the curb.
We do need 8 Olinemen in the roster

Hawkins will be the swing OT, Hubbard the back up LG, Finney the back up at C and RG.

Cockrell short term don't think he is the answer if sidney rice falls take him and a edge Rusher in the 2nd a QB @ DT in the 3rd and a WR in the 4th.

well somebody has to have that spot and he is likely better than anyone in the draft

I'd let Finney back up both spots, and think he might be better than Foster. Hawkins surprised a bit in camp before getting injured.

Hubbard, as bad as he has looked in the pre-season games, seems to be okay when called upon as the next man up for the regular season games.

I credit coach Munchak.

Hubbard always looked awful at guard but the few times he has played tackle he has looked very impressive.
