With the Pittsburgh Steelers already making several off-season moves over the course of the last several weeks, we’re in store for a slightly different looking team in 2021. From offensive line, to defensive back, expect to see several position battles before the start of the new 17-game regular season as well. With that said, both the new look offense and defense will be in for a tough task on their road to a 7th Lombardi Trophy for the franchise, as a tough schedule awaits, coupled with a handful of key losses to free agency. With the rising talent within the AFC North including the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, that doesn’t do the Steelers any favors either.
For me, even through signs of stormy waters ahead, it’s always comforting to see the players we do still have under contract in black and gold committed to making the current roster as ready as they can be. Below are just some of the impactful players you can expect to see come September making headline plays for the Steelers as they continue to stay crisp this off-season in preparation for what lies ahead.
